# Choosing a White Label AI Video Platform Provider

Four very different sellers answer to the same search: a vendor renting seats or credits, a freelancer wrapping one generation API, a custom agency, and a documented platform you buy outright. The demos look alike. The answers to a few plain questions do not: who holds the code and the customer workspaces, whose AI accounts run the renders, and what still works on the day you stop paying.

## Rented Software vs Freelancer vs Custom Agency vs Miracuves

One search term, four kinds of seller. The gaps between them rarely show on a pricing page; they show the first month a customer asks for a second language or a security review.

| What you are comparing | Rented white-label software | Freelancer or API wrapper | Custom agency | Miracuves |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| What you pay | Recurring seat or credit fees | $7,000 - $16,000 | $22,000 - $55,000 | $3,699 once |
| Time until customers can use it | Quick, on the vendor's servers | Varies, often longer than promised | 4-9 months | 6 days to deploy |
| Who holds the code | The vendor; you rent access | You, usually with thin documentation | You, if the contract says so | You, in full, with the documentation set |
| Where customer workspaces live | In the vendor's database | Wherever the build put them, often single-tenant | As specified, eventually | In your PostgreSQL, scoped by workspace |
| Localization | Whatever the vendor exposes | Usually a second render, if offered | Built if it was scoped | A separate translation stage with its own worker |
| How you charge your customers | A resale margin on their pricing | Whatever you add later | Built to order | Plans, generation limits, export tiers and a metered API |
| Operator controls | A reseller panel with limited reach | Minimal | Billed as extra scope | The 18-tab admin command center and audit logs |
| When you stop paying the provider | Access ends with the subscription | Support ends with availability | The retainer ends; the code stays | Nothing changes; there is no fee to stop |

Buying is not right for every team. If your edge is a generation technique of your own, build it, and our [generative AI development service](/service/generative-ai-development/) is where fully custom work lives. What this platform gives you is the operating layer that surrounds generation: workspaces, roles, plans, localization, exports and an audit trail.

        Before Day One

## What the Six Days Need From You

Our side is fixed at six days because the platform already exists. Your calendar is set by four things only you can supply, so start them before the call ends.

        1
### Brand assets

Name, logo, colors, fonts, copy, legal links and player styling. Every surface a customer sees, including emails and invoices, carries them.

        2
### Hosting access

The platform goes onto infrastructure you control, so we need access to it and a domain you own. Local or S3-style storage for media is a setting you pick.

        3
### AI provider accounts

You open and pay for the generation, voice and translation accounts, under those providers' terms, and you hold the keys. Their approval tends to take longest, so apply first.

        4
### A Stripe account, if you bill from launch

Plans and entitlements are modeled and a Stripe-compatible flow is integrated. Taking real money still needs your own Stripe account with its webhooks connected.

        Due Diligence

## Questions Worth Asking Any Provider

Eight questions, in the order we would ask them. Put the same list to every bidder, ourselves included, and compare how plainly each one answers.

### Who owns the source and the customer data?

Ask for the repository, the schema and the migrations by name. A license to use a dashboard is not ownership, and the scripts and videos your clients create should sit in a database you run.

### What happens on the day you stop paying?

With rented seats or credits, the product your customers use stops with the invoice. With a platform you own, you keep running on hosting and provider bills alone. Get the answer in writing.

### Whose AI accounts generate the video?

Ours has no model of its own. Renders run through provider accounts you open and pay for, so output quality follows those providers. Be wary of anyone vague about whose model it is.

### Is the plan limit checked before the render?

Every render is a provider charge. If allowance is verified after the job runs, each overage is a bill you cannot pass on. Ask where the check sits and whether a tampered client can skip it.

### Is a translation its own job?

When localization means regenerating the original, one failed language can take the source down with it. Ask whether each translation carries its own status, worker and retry.

### Where is the tenancy boundary?

Agencies and multi-brand buyers need each client sealed in its own workspace. A boundary added later as a query filter tends to leak, and it leaks in front of a customer.

### What do the delivery days cover, and what not?

Ours cover rebranding, deployment and handover. Not covered: a native mobile app, enterprise SSO over SAML or OIDC, and the hardening add-ons. A quote with no exclusions was never costed.

### Who handles consent, labeling and moderation?

You do, with any provider. Consent from each person whose face or voice becomes a custom avatar or voice, synthetic media labels where markets require them, and privacy notices are operator duties.

        Process

## The Six-Step Delivery Process

What happens between your yes and your first customer workspace. One step is a choice about how hard your buyers will test you.

        1
### A scoping call with a fixed outcome

We go through your plan structure, the providers you have chosen, the markets you will localize for and the buyers you sell to. You leave with a fixed number and a written list of anything that would change it.

        2
### Your brand on every surface, then the deploy

Identity, theme and domain go on first. The platform is then deployed to your hosting, with worker capacity set for the render volume you expect rather than left at a default.

        3
### The authorization decision

Resource-level checks are uneven across route families today. If enterprise buyers will probe cross-tenant access, the central policy middleware and its regression tests are the add-on to take. If they will not, we say so.

        4
### The pre-launch configuration list

A strong JWT secret, an ENCRYPTION_KEY for provider secrets, a strict CORS allowlist, a tighter CSP, Redis-backed queues and monitoring with alerts, set against your real domains and hosting.

        5
### Plans, entitlements and your accounts

Generation caps per plan, export resolutions and formats per tier, API metering, then your AI provider and payment accounts connected through the nine integration sections, each with Save and Test.

        6
### Handover and support you can plan on

Source, schema and its ten migrations, the documentation set, credentials and a walkthrough of every role. Then 60 days of guidance, 6 months of priority fixes and 1 year of free updates.

        Warning Signs

## Red Flags That Mean Walk Away

Use these on us as well. In white label AI video the expensive failures stay quiet until a customer, a reviewer or a provider invoice finds them.

- **"White label" that means our logo on your dashboard**If the seats, the credits and the servers stay with the vendor, you are reselling access. Ask what you could take with you if you left.
- **A model or a likeness included "for free"**A software seller cannot hand you rights to a face or a voice. Anyone promising that has not read the providers' terms, and the risk lands on you.
- **Rendering inside the web request**Video takes longer than any sane timeout. It holds up in a solo demo and breaks the first time several customers generate together.
- **Usage counted after the provider bills you**Limits verified once the job has run turn every overage into cost you absorb. The check belongs before the job enters the queue.
- **Premium exports hidden, not blocked**If a higher resolution is only hidden in the interface, nothing stops a request for it, and your upgrade tier stops meaning anything.
- **Tenancy by user, not by workspace**Seat and workspace pricing both rest on the boundary. Moving it later is a rewrite, not a sprint.
- **No list of known gaps**Every platform has some. Ours are written down: API keys stored unhashed, tokens in browser storage, uneven resource-level checks. A vendor who names none has not looked.
- **Code "released after the final payment"**That can be fair. Then ask whether the render pipeline and entitlement layer are in it, whether anything is obfuscated, and whether a license server phones home.

        Domain

## What an AI Video Platform Has to Get Right

None of these appear in a screenshot. Each one decides whether a provider's platform holds up once paying customers arrive.

### Heavy media work on queues

Generation, translation, export and webhooks run in four queue domains. A slow provider then means a longer queue, not a wall of timeouts, and a failed job can be retried.

### Spend capped before it happens

Render minutes are the variable cost. The service layer checks the plan's generation limit before a job is accepted, which keeps the margin between provider cost and plan price intact.

### A workspace behind every record

Almost every business table references a workspace, so one deployment can host many clients or brands, and usage, API counters and analytics all report per account.

### Tiers the server enforces

The export service decides which resolutions and formats a plan may use. Because the check lives beneath the API, editing the browser does not unlock a higher tier.

### Languages that fail on their own

Videos, generations, translations and exports are separate entities. A Spanish version can fail and retry while the German one and the source stay untouched.

### Numbers a buyer can defend

Workspace KPIs, per-video detail and country, device and event breakdowns, exported as CSV or JSON. That is what a marketing lead brings to a renewal meeting.

        Platform Trust

## Governance You Can Show a Reviewer

Your customers will load unreleased campaigns, scripts and brand assets into this product. A security review wants to know who can see them, who changed what, and whose servers hold it all.

### Separate Workspaces

Projects, media, templates, webhooks and subscriptions are scoped to a workspace, so each client or brand team sees only its own material on a shared deployment. That is what lets an agency run many accounts without separate installs.

### Audit Logs and Sessions

Security-sensitive actions are logged with the actor, the action and the resource, across the whole platform. Operators can see any user's active sessions and revoke one or all, and TOTP two-factor sign-in is available to every user.

### Roles and Suspension

Owner, editor and viewer roles inside each workspace, with platform-admin access kept apart behind its own middleware. Suspend a user or a whole workspace and every authenticated endpoint refuses them.

### Your Servers, Your Duties

It runs on hosting you choose, so headers, secrets and data residency follow your standard. The operator's obligations come with that: privacy duties for workspace data, consent for custom avatars and voices, synthetic media labels where required, and moderation.

Each capability is marked Included, Supported or Configuration required, and the gaps are named before you pay. The platform ships with a VAPT posture document and a separate line-by-line audit; neither is a certification, and we claim none.

## An Enterprise Marketing Deployment

This platform, rolled out for an enterprise marketing organization that needed governed, multilingual campaign video. The client's identity is withheld under NDA.

### Challenges

- Localized campaign video with no outside translation vendor
- Each brand team confined to its own workspace content
- Rendering on queues that held through campaign-week peaks

### Goal

- Script, avatar, voice, translation and export on one governed platform
- Audit trails and role controls that satisfied the security review
- Video output that repeats on schedule instead of starting over each project

### Solution by Miracuves

- Generation, translation and export pipelines running on queues
- Subscriptions per workspace, usage limits and a metered API
- Eight interface languages, switchable at runtime
- Versioned scripts, templates, scenes, avatars and voices
- An Express API with Redis-backed workers and an inline fallback

## Frequently Asked Questions

Is a platform provider the same as a custom AI agency?
No. A platform provider sells a finished product you can deploy within days, while an agency builds to a specification over months. This page is about the first kind. If your requirements truly fit no ready-made platform, fully custom work lives on our [generative AI development service](/service/generative-ai-development/), and we will tell you plainly when that is the better route.

What do I own once the platform is handed over?
The full source of the React web app, the Express API with REST and GraphQL, the PostgreSQL schema with its migrations and the queue workers, plus the documentation set. There is no license fee, no revenue share and no per-video or per-seat charge from us, and you are free to change, extend or redeploy any of it.

Whose AI model generates the videos?
Not ours: Miracuves has no model of its own. Generation, voice and translation run through provider accounts you open and pay for, under their terms, so output quality depends on them. Providers are set at runtime across nine integration sections, which makes switching one a settings change rather than a migration.

Who is responsible for consent, labeling and moderation?
You, as the operator. A face or voice belongs to the person it depicts, so use provider-licensed stock avatars or obtain explicit consent for custom ones. Labeling synthetic media where markets require it, privacy notices and moderating what customers produce are also yours. The platform records actions in its audit log; it does not run your consent process.

Are there recurring fees after launch?
Not to us. The $3,699 is paid once. Your own running costs remain: hosting, the AI provider accounts with their per-minute charges, video storage and delivery, payment processing fees and any third-party service you switch on.

What is not included in the base build?
A native mobile app: it is a responsive web platform, and native iOS and Android are custom work. SAML or OIDC single sign-on is extra work too. Hardening add-ons such as hashed API keys, secure-cookie tokens and central authorization middleware are scoped separately, and items like the ENCRYPTION_KEY, CORS, CSP and Redis-backed queues are configuration required before production.
