Marvel, the well-known international brand associated with superheroes, comics, and movies, aimed to have an advanced website to satisfy the needs of its vast and loyal consumers. So the idea was to create a website that would not only attract ordinary guests with a simple and dynamic design but also make a detailed and easy-to-navigate site for fans. This required a website that could cater to the fans through various forms of interactions as well as being able to handle the large traffic generated by any new comics, movies, TV shows, and merchandise among others during periods of release.

Several factors made the process of creation of the new website by Marvel, with the help of the Web Content Management System (CMS), challenging.
Complex Content Management: The amount of content that Marvel puts out into the general consumer arena including comics, movies, television programs, toys, and other products is huge. One of the major considerations was to ensure that all the contents were well arranged and shared in a manner that would help the users without much effort.
User Experience (UX): The Marvel website may be visited by people who never visited this type of site and just wandering around and it may be visited by true enthusiasts looking for particular content. Evaluating the site with that broad category of audience in mind was important in guaranteeing that the website was easy to navigate and would engage its users.
Performance: Due to Marvel’s international influence and the company’s tendency to make high-profile announcements and releases, this website had to be prepared for a high amount of traffic, especially during a movie premiere or a new comic book release.
Integration with Third-Party Services: The website needed to serve as a one-stop-shop of sorts that would include e-commerce for merchandise, links to the trailer and show streaming services, and social media outlets for fan interaction.

Advanced Content Management System (CMS) Integration: Miracuves proposed and created an individual CMS system that helped to organize Marvel’s enormous amount of content. The particular architecture of the CMS was designed to be rather flexible for changes across all the categories, such as comics, movies TV shows, and merchandise. The implementation of smart automation went hand in hand with simplifying the way the content was updated so that Marvel’s team could handle the site well.
Enhanced User Experience (UX) Design: Miracuves redesigned the layout of the website and improved its usability and aesthetics. Through navigation, recommendations and numerous multimedia blocks users can quickly find content that they are interested in. The visitors are also able to go through the Marvel Universe where they can find everything starting with the chosen character and ending with the new movies and limited edition products.
High-Performance Architecture: For proper handling of very high volumes of traffic, Miracuves adopted cloud solutions through server scalability. This architecture helps the website to be fast and available at any point in time such as during new movie releases or Comic-Con announcements. CDNs were also used and aided in relieving latency for the users who usually visited the site from abridged zones.
