Cloud, Data and DevOps Services for the Systems Your App Runs On
Databases, cloud platforms and release pipelines are the layer users never see and engineers live with every day. Each of the ten services below is scoped as a defined build and handed over inside cloud accounts that belong to you.

Pick by the problem you feel today, not by the platform you hear about most often.
Relational or Document Database
If your data has clear relationships, such as orders, invoices and users, PostgreSQL or MySQL keep it consistent with transactions and joins. MongoDB suits records whose shape varies or changes often. Firebase is worth a look when a mobile app needs live sync and sign-in without writing a server first.
One Cloud, Chosen for Fit
Most products are well served by a single provider. AWS has a very broad service catalog, Azure fits organizations already on Microsoft identity and tooling, and Google Cloud suits teams centered on its data and Kubernetes tools. A cloud engineering engagement can compare them against your workloads before you commit.
Containers When Environments Drift
If code works on one machine and fails on another, Docker packages it with its dependencies. Kubernetes adds scheduling, self-healing and rolling updates once you run several services; for a single app, a managed container service is often enough on its own.
Pipelines Before More Servers
Slow, manual releases are usually a pipeline problem rather than a hosting one. Automated builds, tests and deployments, plus monitoring that alerts your team before customers notice, tend to repay the effort sooner than adding capacity to a process that still depends on someone remembering every step.
What You Get from a Cloud or Data Build
Ten services in three groups, all delivered as fixed-scope builds with the scope and figure agreed in writing before anything changes.
Included on every engagement
- Everything is deployed into cloud accounts you own, while hosting bills and domains stay in your name and outside the build.
- Custom builds take 2 to 8 weeks, and a larger migration is priced and scoped on paper before any change touches production.
- Infrastructure code, scripts and schemas are handed over in full, unencrypted, with no license check-ins.
- Guidance on running the platform lasts 60 days, while priority fixes for bugs continue for 6 months and evolution of the product for 12 months, all at once rather than in turn.
- Architecture and security reviews are available on their own as advisory work if you want a second opinion before building.
Questions About Cloud, Data & DevOps
How long does a cloud migration or database build take?
A custom build in this practice runs 2 to 8 weeks. The range depends on how many services and environments move, how much data has to migrate and how much downtime you can tolerate. A migration bigger than that, for example several products moving clouds at once, gets its own written scope and quote before any work begins.
Where can I see what AWS or Kubernetes work costs?
Each service page carries its own published figure for our work, and that page is authoritative. The cloud provider's monthly bill is separate: hosting stays with you and is paid directly to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud from your account. When the right service is unclear, a free written scope and figure usually arrives a few working days after the first call.
Is Kubernetes worth it for a single application?
Rarely, at the start. One application with a database runs comfortably on a managed container or app service, with far less to operate. Kubernetes pays off when you run several services that scale independently, need rolling deployments across many instances or want one platform across clouds. Containerizing with Docker early keeps that move open without committing to a cluster before it is useful.
Whose cloud account does everything run in?
Yours. Databases, clusters, pipelines and monitoring are created in infrastructure you own, so billing, access and audit logs stay under your control. At handover you receive every script, template and configuration file as unencrypted source with no license check-ins. If you later bring the work in-house or move to another provider, you need no sign-off or handover step from us first.
Can you review our current setup before we commit to a build?
Yes. Architecture and security reviews are offered as advisory work, separate from any build, and CTO-level guidance is available without a full-time hire. A review is useful when costs have crept up, releases keep failing or you are unsure whether to migrate. You can act on the findings with your own team or turn them into a scoped build with us.
