Mobile Engineering

Mobile App Development Services for iOS, Android and the Mobile Web

Pick the service by how the app has to be built: native code for each platform, one shared codebase for both, or a web app that installs from the browser. Every route ends with the full source in your hands and releases published from developer accounts you own.

How to choose

How to Choose Between Native, Cross-Platform and Web

The right approach depends less on fashion and more on what the app touches on the device and who maintains it later.

Option 01

Go Native When the Device Is the Product

Choose Swift or Kotlin when the app leans hard on the camera, sensors, background tasks, widgets or features that arrive with each OS release. You maintain two codebases, but each behaves exactly as its platform expects, and new system APIs are usable the day Apple or Google ships them.

Option 02

Share One Codebase When the Screens Match

Flutter and React Native suit products whose iOS and Android versions look and behave alike, such as marketplaces, booking tools and content apps. One team writes most features once. Plan for a thin layer of platform code wherever a plugin falls short of what the feature needs.

Option 03

Start with a PWA When Reach Matters Most

A progressive web app installs from a link, updates without store review and works offline once cached. It is a sensible first release when getting in front of people matters more than deep hardware access, and the same front end can later be wrapped in a store app.

Option 04

Pick by the Team That Inherits It

If your in-house developers write JavaScript, React Native or Ionic keeps the code familiar. If they know Dart or plan to learn it, Flutter fits. If you are hiring native specialists anyway, Swift and Kotlin avoid a framework layer between your code and the operating system.

What Every Mobile Engagement Includes

Eleven services, sorted by build approach. Each one runs as a monthly retainer with a sprint demo every week, and each page lists its own scope and price.

Included on every engagement

  • Ready-made apps go live in 6 working days; custom mobile builds take 2 to 8 weeks, and anything bigger is scoped and quoted in writing first.
  • Releases reach the App Store and Google Play through developer accounts registered to you, and the source arrives unencrypted with no license check-ins.
  • Three support terms run side by side on every app: platform guidance for 60 days, priority bug fixes for 6 months, product evolution for 12 months.
  • Retainer progress is shown in a weekly sprint demo against the agreed backlog, with no minimum term and two weeks notice to stop.
  • We take no share of what your app earns, and its backend is deployed to infrastructure you own.
FAQ

Questions About Mobile Engineering

What is a realistic timeline for a mobile app?

A ready-made app platform can go live in 6 working days. A custom mobile build usually takes 2 to 8 weeks depending on screens, integrations and how many platforms you target. If the product is larger than that, we scope it and send a written quote before any work begins, so the timeline is agreed rather than guessed.

Where can I see the price for an iOS or Flutter app?

On the service page itself. Each of the eleven mobile services publishes its own figure, and that page is the authoritative one, which is why this overview lists none. If your app mixes approaches, for example native iOS with a Flutter companion, expect a free written scope with a figure a few working days after we first speak.

Should we build native or use Flutter or React Native?

Go native when the app depends on platform features such as advanced camera control, background processing, widgets or wearables, or when you want new OS capabilities immediately. Choose Flutter or React Native when both platforms share the same screens and you would rather fund one codebase. A PWA is worth considering when installing from a link is enough and store presence can wait.

Who owns the developer accounts and the code?

You do. Store submissions go out under developer accounts your company registers with Apple and Google, so the listing and its reviews stay with you. At handover you receive the full source code with nothing encrypted and no license check-ins, and the backend is deployed to infrastructure you own. You can extend it in-house or move it elsewhere without asking us.

What stays outside a mobile app build?

A few items always remain with you: your hosting and domain names, any merchant onboarding or payment gateway application, the privacy policy, terms and other legal documents the stores require, third-party API fees and licenses, and the store accounts themselves. We can explain what each one involves, but none of them is part of the delivery scope.
