Miracuves is a Contentful CMS development company. We design content models, set up spaces, environments, locales and webhooks, build App Framework apps for editors, and connect Contentful's APIs to Next.js sites and mobile apps. A Contentful CMS Launch starts from $3,699 over 3-8 weeks; custom builds take 2-8 weeks. Contentful is SaaS: the space sits in your account, and 100% of the code we write is yours.
Our Contentful Approach
How Miracuves delivers Contentful solutions - from 25+ headless CMS projects
After 25+ Contentful deployments, Miracuves follows a repeatable content architecture process - content modeling, locale strategy, GraphQL delivery, preview workflows, and frontend integration - not ad-hoc CMS setups that break at scale.
Contentful's API-first platform delivers structured content to web, mobile, and omnichannel surfaces from one source. Miracuves configures spaces, environments, and webhooks so editorial teams publish once and every frontend stays in sync.
Who this service is built for: Marketing, product, and engineering teams that need enterprise headless CMS with multi-locale publishing, preview environments, and GraphQL delivery - with a company accountable for architecture, integrations, and handoff documentation.
- Contentful GraphQL Content API on every project: optimized queries per frontend surface
- Content modeling enforced: structured fields, references, and validation from day one
- Preview environments and locale fallback rules configured before go-live
- Webhook and preview pipelines configured on every project: automated content sync from first commit
- Production go-live runbook: space config, CDN delivery, and publish workflow validated

"A global retailer needed 8 locales and separate brand spaces feeding one Next.js storefront. We modeled 14 content types, configured Contentful locales with fallback rules, built GraphQL queries per region, and set up preview webhooks - editors published once and all storefronts updated within minutes. Delivered in 6 weeks."
25+ CMS Solutions Built with Contentful
What Miracuves has deployed with Contentful - the builds we scope
Six examples of the Contentful builds we scope. The two from $3,699 are Contentful CMS Launch projects (3-8 weeks); the others are custom builds, priced in writing before work starts. None of them is a ready-made catalogue platform.

Honest noteContentful suits teams that want managed, API-first content across brands and locales. If you would rather self-host and own the CMS code, Miracuves may recommend Strapi; for many sites with complex permissions and a PHP team, Drupal; for a drag-and-drop site builder, Wix. We tell you which fits before any commitment.
Technology Comparison
Contentful vs Strapi vs WordPress - which CMS fits your project?
A team that builds on one CMS will rarely tell you when another fits better. Miracuves works with Contentful, Strapi and WordPress, so the table below sets them side by side on hosting, APIs, modeling, extensions and fit - before your content is committed to any of them.
Contentful
SaaS · API-first
Strapi
Open source · Node.js
WordPress
PHP · MySQL
You need enterprise API-first content · global CDN delivery · multi-locale publishing · GraphQL Content API with preview workflows.
You want to self-host an open-source headless CMS - see Strapi →. A site your marketers build with drag-and-drop - see Wix →. A traditional PHP CMS for many sites and roles - see Drupal → or WordPress →.
Contentful guide
Before you choose a Contentful CMS agency
Answers to what buyers ask us before a Contentful project: what the build covers, which front end to pair with it, what Contentful itself charges, how content moves in from WordPress or Drupal, and what you own at the end.
What does a Contentful build include?
Contentful runs the servers, so a Contentful build is mostly modeling and integration: deciding the shape of your content and wiring it to every channel that reads it. A Contentful CMS development company typically delivers:
- Content modeling - content types, fields, validations and references designed from your real pages and screens
- Spaces and environments - a space per product or brand, and sandbox environments where model changes are tested before production is switched to them
- The content APIs wired correctly - Content Delivery for published entries, Content Preview for drafts, Content Management for imports and automation, and GraphQL for front ends that want one query per view
- Apps on Contentful's App Framework, which Contentful now recommends over the older UI extensions, for custom fields, sidebars and editor tools
- Locales with fallback rules, and webhooks that tell your front end, search index or translation service what changed
Which front end works best with Contentful?
Contentful renders no pages, so the front end decides speed and SEO. For most websites we pair it with Next.js: pages are rendered on the server or cached as static HTML, each fetch is tagged with the entries it used, and a publish webhook calls a route that revalidates only those pages. Editors check drafts through Next.js draft mode reading the Preview API, and Contentful's live preview can show edits beside the page as they type.
Gatsby, Nuxt or plain React work too, and mobile apps read the same entries through Contentful's SDKs, so a banner changes on the site and in the app together. More important than the framework: keep preview tokens on the server, and request only the fields each view shows.
What does a Contentful project cost, and what does Contentful charge?
There are two bills. Miracuves charges for the build: a Contentful CMS Launch from $3,699 over 3-8 weeks, custom builds typically $8,000-$25,000 over 2-8 weeks (larger scopes are quoted in writing before work starts), and ongoing work from $2,299/month.
Contentful bills its subscription to you directly. When we checked contentful.com in September 2026 it listed a Free plan, a paid Lite plan for a single project and an Enterprise plan priced by its sales team. The Free plan allows two locales, 25 content types, 10,000 records and 100,000 API calls a month; Lite raises those limits and adds scheduled publishing and comments; custom roles, custom locale counts and multiple large spaces sit in Enterprise. Plans change, so we size yours against the current list before you sign anything.
How do you migrate to Contentful from WordPress or Drupal?
Mapping comes before any script. We list every post type, taxonomy, custom field and media file on the old site, decide which become Contentful content types, references or tags, and drop what nobody reads. From WordPress, posts and ACF fields come out through the REST API and body HTML is converted to Contentful Rich Text. From Drupal, nodes, paragraphs and taxonomy terms come out through JSON:API or the database - often the route for Drupal 7 sites leaving a platform that no longer gets security releases.
Import scripts call the Content Management API and run against a sandbox environment until entry and asset counts match the source. Content-type changes live in Git as migration scripts. At launch, production switches to the migrated content, and 301 redirects carry old URLs and their rankings across.
Contentful, Strapi or Drupal - which CMS fits?
Choose Contentful when you want a managed content platform: nothing to patch, published content served from a CDN, and editors across brands and locales in one web app. The trade-off is a subscription that grows with users, locales and records, and a CMS you rent rather than own.
Choose Strapi when your developers want an open-source headless CMS they host, extend in JavaScript and control end to end. Choose Drupal when many sites need fine-grained permissions and a PHP team will run them. For a marketing site edited through themes, WordPress costs less to build and run. We give the recommendation in writing before you pay anything.
What do you own when your CMS is Contentful?
Contentful is software as a service, so the CMS itself stays Contentful's: you license it through your subscription and cannot take its source code with you. What you should own is everything around it. We create the space inside your company's Contentful organization, or move it there, with your people as owners and Miracuves invited as users.
Your entries and assets are yours and can be exported as JSON at any time with the Contentful CLI. The front-end code, custom apps, webhook handlers, import scripts and content-model migrations Miracuves writes are 100% yours, assigned in writing at project start, so another team can take over, or the content can move to a different CMS later.
How do you choose a Contentful CMS agency?
Judge the content model before the portfolio. Ask each agency to show how it would model two or three of your real pages, and how it changes that model once thousands of entries exist. Strong answers include:
- Reusable components with validations, not one giant page type holding every field
- Model changes scripted and rehearsed in a sandbox environment, never clicked into production
- Preview working from the first sprint, so editors see drafts in the real layout
- A locale and fallback plan agreed before the first translation is ordered
- The space owned by your organization, and a handoff pack listing every API key, webhook and app
Technical Architecture
How Miracuves engineers structure Contentful headless CMS projects
These are the decisions our engineers make on every Contentful project - how the front-end code is organized around content types, how models are named and versioned, and how queries and media are kept fast - choices that decide whether a space grows cleanly or has to be remodeled later.
- 01
Architecture - Clean, Feature-First Modules
Strict separation: Presentation → Domain → Data. Every feature folder owns its content types, GraphQL queries, frontend components, and data models independently. This is how Miracuves adds a new content type in days without breaking existing frontends or webhook integrations.
- 02
Content - Contentful Models, GraphQL for Queries
Contentful content types keep structure predictable and reusable. The most common problem inherited from other agencies: flat, unversioned content models with no locale strategy. We eliminate that on day one as a hard standard - not a suggestion.
- 03
Performance - CDN Delivery and Query Optimization
GraphQL queries are scoped per frontend surface. Heavy media uses Contentful CDN transforms and edge caching. We profile every release with Lighthouse and Contentful webhook monitoring - unoptimized preview builds are never used as a performance benchmark.
Delivering staging-only previews with no publish workflow. No webhook pipeline. Hardcoded API keys in source. No locale fallback rules before go-live. Miracuves has taken over Contentful spaces with each of these problems, and remodeling a live space with thousands of entries always costs more than modeling it correctly on day one.
// lib/contentful.ts - one page from the GraphQL Content API (Next.js App Router)const SPACE = process.env.CONTENTFUL_SPACE_ID!;const ENV = process.env.CONTENTFUL_ENVIRONMENT ?? 'master';export async function getPage(slug: string, locale = 'en-US', preview = false) { // Preview API token sees drafts; Delivery API token sees published entries only const token = preview ? process.env.CONTENTFUL_PREVIEW_TOKEN! : process.env.CONTENTFUL_DELIVERY_TOKEN!; const res = await fetch( `https://graphql.contentful.com/content/v1/spaces/${SPACE}/environments/${ENV}`, { method: 'POST', headers: { 'Content-Type': 'application/json', Authorization: `Bearer ${token}` }, body: JSON.stringify({ query: `query ($slug: String!, $locale: String!, $preview: Boolean!) { pageCollection(where: { slug: $slug }, locale: $locale, preview: $preview, limit: 1) { items { title seoDescription heroImage { url width height } } } }`, variables: { slug, locale, preview }, }), // the publish webhook calls revalidateTag('page:' + slug) next: { tags: [`page:${slug}`] }, }, ); if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`Contentful ${res.status}`); const { data, errors } = await res.json(); if (errors) throw new Error(errors[0].message); return data.pageCollection.items[0] ?? null;}

Enforced QA Gates
Our 6 Continuous Delivery Gateways
Every content model, webhook, and API integration must successfully clear all six quality control gates before production handoff.
Content Model Review Before Publish
Every content type, field validation rule, and reference relationship is reviewed by a senior Miracuves architect before editors receive production access.
Automated Test Coverage Required
API integration tests for content models, GraphQL query tests, and end-to-end tests for publish workflows. Minimum coverage enforced before any production deployment.
Production Builds Profiled - Not Local Dev Servers
Miracuves validates GraphQL query performance and CDN cache hit rates on every release candidate, using a production build of the front end reading published content - not a local dev server or preview mode. Staging metrics must meet production targets before go-live.
Handoff Package - Not Just a Contentful API
Workspace access, content model documentation, webhook configs, API keys guide, migration scripts, and post-launch runbook - all included in every project handoff.
Production Go-Live - Preview, Webhooks, and CDN Validated
Miracuves handles space configuration, webhook setup, preview environment validation, locale fallback rules, and production publish workflow sign-off before handoff.
Post-Launch Monitoring - 60-Day Active Support
Webhook health checks and Contentful API monitoring configured pre-launch. Miracuves monitors publish failures and API latency during the 60-day post-launch support window - proactive, not reactive.
Technology Stack
The Contentful stack Miracuves ships with
Picked per project: the front-end framework, hosting and caching layer follow your channels, your traffic and the team that will maintain the site.
Our Process
From brief to deployed Contentful CMS - what happens and when
Every Contentful engagement runs through the same five steps, whether it begins from our Contentful CMS Launch base or from a custom architecture spec. At each step you see what our team is building, what we need from you - sample content, brand assets, an invitation to your Contentful organization - and what you receive. Six days is Miracuves build time, not calendar time
The six days are ours, and they do not run past six. Why Miracuves publishes pricesSeeing the cost first lets you decide which brands, locales and channels go live now and which follow. If your Contentful project needs a larger budget, Miracuves will point to the content types, apps or integrations behind it - not simply charge more.
What affects Contentful project cost at Miracuves
The Contentful CMS Launch price holds for as long as your scope fits the base module. Custom Contentful builds scale with: number of content types and locales, App Framework extensions, third-party integrations, multi-space architecture, migration complexity, and frontend surfaces beyond the standard stack.
Typical Contentful budget ranges
- Module launchfrom $3,6993-8 weeks
- Custom build$8,000-$25,0002-8 weeks; larger scopes are quoted in writing before work starts
- Ongoing retainerfrom $2,299/month for feature work and maintenance
Each Contentful quote is put in writing before you pay, and no invoice arrives after kickoff that the quote did not show.
Example engagement
What a typical Contentful project looks like at Miracuves
An illustrative example of a typical project of this kind, with client details anonymized. Figures show what this kind of build targets, not a named client's results.
A multi-brand retail group managing 12 brands across 8 markets needed a unified content platform to replace their fragmented WordPress and AEM installations - all within 8 weeks before a major product launch.
- 01
The Challenge
Each brand had its own CMS, content team, and design system. Content reuse across brands was impossible, translations took weeks, and publishing a campaign across all brands required manual coordination across 12 separate workflows.
- 02
What Miracuves Delivered
Built a multi-brand content portal on Contentful with 40+ shared and brand-specific content models. Integrated Contentful with Gatsby for SSG, built a custom Contentful app for editorial workflow management, and connected Contentful webhooks to a translation service for automated locale generation.
- 03
Outcome
Content delivery went from 48 hours to under 5 minutes. Translation turnaround dropped from 3 weeks to 48 hours. The platform now serves 8 markets in 6 languages with a single unified content repository and zero content duplication.

Client Reviews
What clients say about building with Miracuves
Named clients, in their own words, on content published to many screens - a regional OTT platform across mobile, web and smart TVs, a streaming platform with its own CMS, and a learning catalogue. None of the three was built on Contentful. Each card names what it was built on; read every testimonial on our client testimonials page.
"We wanted to launch a regional OTT streaming platform that could deliver high quality video across mobile, web, and smart TVs while supporting subscriptions, content management, and future growth. From planning to launch, the platform was delivered in just a few weeks. We introduced a seamless streaming experience, simplified content publishing for our team, and created a scalable infrastructure capable of supporting thousands of concurrent viewers."
"Player, CMS, subscriptions and the apps were all there. We brought the content pipeline, our recommendation logic and the parental-control layer. Live in weeks, not the six months a custom build would have cost, and we hit our Q1 window."
"Miracuves's MXFlix + MXLearn combination gave us the player, the catalog, the user progress tracking, and the quiz/assignment layer. We added our path-recommender, our cohort-management module, and a custom certificate engine. We launched in 12 weeks. Course completion rates are 2x what we used to see on our old platform, and learners actually come back to finish."

Frequently Asked
Questions about Contentful development at Miracuves
Something not covered here? Ask on WhatsApp and you will usually have an answer within two hours.
Ask us directlyWhat is Contentful and why choose it for headless CMS?
Contentful is an API-first headless CMS platform that decouples content creation from frontend delivery. Unlike traditional CMS platforms, Contentful delivers content via GraphQL and REST APIs to any frontend - web, mobile, IoT, or digital signage. It supports structured content modeling, localization, webhook integrations, and a rich app ecosystem. Miracuves recommends Contentful for enterprises that need composable, multi-channel content architectures.
How does Miracuves approach Contentful content modeling?
Miracuves starts every Contentful project with a 3-day content architecture sprint. We define content types, field validations, reference relationships, media constraints, and taxonomies before any frontend code is written. This model-first approach ensures your content structure scales as you add brands, locales, and frontend surfaces.
What frontend frameworks work best with Contentful?
Contentful pairs well with any frontend framework. Miracuves commonly uses Gatsby and Next.js for static and SSR sites, React and Vue for dynamic SPAs, and plain JavaScript for lightweight integrations. Contentful serves published content through its CDN whichever front end you choose, and we add caching in the front end itself so pages do not wait on an API call for every visitor.
How long does it take to build a Contentful-powered website?
A standard Contentful-powered website with 5-10 content models, localization for 3-5 languages, and a Gatsby or Next.js frontend typically takes 3-6 weeks. Enterprise multi-brand portals with 40+ content models and complex workflows are custom builds of 2-8 weeks; larger scopes are quoted in writing before work starts. Miracuves provides a detailed timeline after the content architecture sprint.
Can Miracuves migrate my existing CMS content to Contentful?
Yes. Miracuves has experience migrating content from WordPress, Drupal, AEM, Strapi, and custom CMS platforms to Contentful. Our migration process includes content audit, taxonomy mapping, automated import scripts via Contentful CMA, validation checks, and parallel run periods to ensure zero data loss.
What does Contentful development cost at Miracuves?
A Contentful CMS Launch starts from $3,699 and takes 3-8 weeks, at a fixed price while your scope matches the base module. A custom Contentful build typically costs $8,000-$25,000 over 2-8 weeks; larger scopes are quoted in writing before work starts. The figure moves with the number of content types and locales, App Framework extensions, third-party integrations, multi-space architecture, migration complexity and front ends beyond the standard stack. Ongoing Contentful work runs from $2,299/month. Your Contentful subscription is billed by Contentful, not included in these figures. You own 100% of the code Miracuves writes and the IP in it. Every quote is written before payment, with no surprise invoices after kickoff.
Can Contentful handle multi-language content and translation workflows?
Yes. Contentful has built-in localization support with per-field translations, fallback locale handling, and locale-specific SEO metadata. Miracuves integrates Contentful with translation management systems via webhooks, enabling automated translation workflows. We have deployed Contentful platforms supporting 20+ languages for enterprise clients.
What kind of support does Miracuves provide after Contentful launch?
Miracuves offers ongoing Contentful development and maintenance services including content model updates, new frontend integrations, custom Contentful app development, performance optimization, and production support, with a first response in under 2 hours, Mon-Sat 10:00-19:00 IST. We also provide Contentful training for your content editors and developers to ensure your team can manage the platform independently.
Can Miracuves work on a Contentful space we already run?
Yes. We start with a short audit of the space: content types and record counts against your plan limits, unused fields, locales and fallbacks, environments, installed apps, webhooks, and any API tokens sitting in front-end code. Then we fix what is risky and add what you need - a custom app for editors, a new locale, a webhook to your search index - writing every model change as a script that is tested in a sandbox environment first.
Do we pay Contentful separately from Miracuves?
Yes. The Contentful subscription is a contract between your company and Contentful, billed by Contentful, and it is not part of Miracuves prices. Our fees cover the work: a Contentful CMS Launch from $3,699, custom builds typically $8,000-$25,000, or ongoing work from $2,299/month. Smaller sites can start on Contentful's Free plan; we check your content types, records, locales and traffic against the current plan limits before recommending one.
Can you build custom Contentful apps for our editors?
Yes. Custom apps use Contentful's App Framework: a React app built with the App SDK and Forma 36, Contentful's design system, placed in a field, the entry sidebar, the entry editor or a full page of the web app. Typical examples pull product data from a commerce platform into a field, check SEO fields before publishing, or show an entry in every locale side by side. Apps can be hosted by Contentful or on your own infrastructure, and their code is yours.
