MakeMyTrip Clone Development Cost: $3,999, Fixed
A flight search screen is the cheap part. The cost of a travel platform sits in a booking flow for eight categories, a checkout that locks the amount and refunds on a failed confirmation, supplier routing with fallbacks, a margin engine, an agent portal with commission and settlements, a corporate portal with approvals, and a vendor extranet. Built from nothing, that is a multi-year programme for a large team before the first booking.

Five routes to the same platform, and what each one costs you in money, time and ownership.
| Route | Typical cost | What you end up owning |
|---|---|---|
| Generic travel script | $500 - $3,000 | Flights and hotels. Agents, companies and a safe checkout are what is missing |
| White-label booking engine | Monthly fee plus per booking | A rented front end, and a cut of every trip for as long as you trade |
| Miracuves ready-made | $3,999 fixed | Eight categories, three channels and the margin engine, in six working days |
| Custom agency build | $90,000 - $300,000 | A bespoke platform, and quarters of work before the first booking confirms |
| Enterprise programme | Six figures and up | A large team over eighteen months or more, the honest figure for this depth from nothing |
Those ranges describe what comparable scope sells for, not offers from us. Ours is the highlighted row and it holds after scoping. The second row is the one worth pausing on: a per-booking fee is exactly the arrangement a travel business buys its own platform to escape.
What the Price Includes
Not one app. The consumer apps, every partner portal, the admin panel and the booking engine behind them, at one fixed price.
No licence fee, no revenue share and no per-booking charge. Your ongoing costs are your own hosting and the accounts you choose to use, which are listed further down this page rather than discovered later.
What Moves the Number
Costs move only when you add scoped work, and on a travel platform the list is specific.
A supplier your market depends on
Connectors ship for flight, hotel, bus, rail, cab and activity suppliers. A specific airline, hotel wholesaler, bus operator, rail partner or local activity supplier outside those is an integration against that company's API, and it is worth naming on the first call if your launch depends on it.
A two-way channel manager
Vendors manage rates and availability in the extranet today. Syncing that inventory in both directions with outside booking channels, so a hotel updates once and sells everywhere, is the most common supply-side add-on and it is quoted separately.
Dynamic pricing rules
Margins are set per category by hand in the base build. Rules that adjust them automatically by season, demand, route or booking window are scoped work, and they are much easier to design well once you have a season of real booking data to base them on.
Enterprise corporate workflows
Policies, approvals and expense claims ship. Custom approval chains, HR and ERP expense integrations, cost-center billing and single sign-on are what a large corporate client asks for, and they are quoted against that client's systems rather than guessed at.
Multi-brand and new markets
Running several brands or white-label partner sites on a shared core, and adding currencies, local payment methods and translated interfaces for a market outside the platform's home stack, are separate add-ons, each quoted against the markets you actually intend to open.
Growth tooling
Marketing automation for abandoned searches, abandoned carts, fare alerts and segmented campaigns, and a B2B package builder for agents and tour operators assembling their own packages with their own markup. Both are scoped rather than included.
Each of these is quoted in writing before any work begins, and none is assumed into the fixed number. Custom features and integrations typically run two to eight weeks depending on scope.
The Six-Day Path to Live
What happens in the six working days, and what runs in parallel on your side.
Choose categories and start the approvals
Which of the eight categories you sell first, which channels you lead with, and the list of accounts your side must start today: app store developer accounts, payment gateway approval, SMS sender registration and your travel supplier accounts. Those usually decide the real launch date, so they start before anything else.
Branding across every surface
Brand name, logo, colors and domain across the apps, the website and every partner portal, homepage banners and offers scheduled, and the categories you are not launching with switched off rather than hidden, so they can be turned on later without a release.
Deploy and connect your accounts
Containers onto your cloud provider behind TLS, PostgreSQL and Redis provisioned, and your payment gateway, SMS, email and maps credentials connected. Supplier accounts that are already approved are connected; the rest run on demo inventory until they are.
Set margins, commissions and roles
A margin, flat fee and minimum for each category, the default agent and vendor commission, payment method fees and which methods appear, cancellation policy per category, loyalty and cashback rules, corporate plan tiers, and staff accounts across the nine roles.
Walkthrough and handover
We book a flight as a traveler, pay part from the wallet, then open the same booking in the admin panel with its payment and margin. Then an agent books a hotel for a client and the commission lands, and a corporate booking above policy waits for approval.
The support window
60 days of dedicated platform guidance, 6 months of priority bug fixes and 12 months of product updates. Additional suppliers, the channel manager and corporate enterprise workflows usually run inside that window on their own scoped schedule.
Six working days covers the standard platform with your branding, categories, margins and payment setup. App store review and supplier approvals run on those companies' timelines, which is why they start on day zero rather than day six.
Regional Development Rates
Nobody can quote a from-scratch travel build honestly without knowing your team. What can be stated is the shape of it, eighteen months or more of senior engineering, and what an hour of it costs where you would hire it.
| Region | Senior engineer, blended hourly | What an 18-month-plus programme implies |
|---|---|---|
| India | $25 - $60 | The lowest rate, and still a large team for a long time before a single ticket is issued |
| Southeast Asia | $25 - $55 | A deep TypeScript and React Native pool, where specification quality decides the outcome |
| Gulf and Middle East | $60 - $130 | Often the outbound travel market being served, which makes local hiring attractive and no faster |
| Eastern Europe | $45 - $95 | The familiar outsourcing route, where risk moves from cost to supplier integration experience |
| Western Europe | $90 - $170 | Employer costs and notice periods close most of the gap to North America |
| North America | $120 - $220 | A seven-figure programme before the platform takes its first booking |
Why we give you the rate instead of the total
A single total would be guesses about your team size, your region, your seniority mix and how well you specify the parts nobody demos. Search results are what every estimate prices. What takes the time is a checkout that stays correct when a traveler taps twice and a supplier times out on the same second, fallback routing when a supplier goes down on a holiday weekend, a margin engine that every category respects, commission and settlements for an agent network, approvals and expense claims for companies, and a vendor extranet hotels will actually use.
Indicative blended hourly figures for booking and marketplace engineering, published so you can multiply them out yourself. They are not quotes, and they are not market statistics.
Why the Price Is Fixed, Not "Starting At"
What a fixed number commits us to
The scope is the demo. Seven live logins sit on one demo: traveler, agent, vendor, admin, sub-admin, CEO and billing. There is no discovery phase that discovers the price was optimistic, because the platform already exists and runs on live infrastructure.
No percentage of any booking. Your margin on flights, hotels and every other category, your agent and vendor commissions and your corporate plan fees are yours in full. We are not a party to a single trip.
No charge per agent, vendor or company. Your five hundredth agent and your fiftieth corporate account cost you nothing extra from us, which on a platform whose growth comes through those channels is exactly the wrong thing to be charged for.
The boundary is named before purchase. Live inventory runs on your own supplier accounts, and the channel manager, dynamic pricing, enterprise corporate workflows, multi-brand, multi-currency, marketing automation, B2B package builder and additional suppliers are all add-ons stated here and on the hub.
What we never quote as part of the price: a best-price guarantee on fares, an uptime figure, or a compliance certificate. Those depend on your suppliers, your hosting and your own audits.
Hidden Costs Most Quotes Leave Out
None of these are ours to charge. They are yours to budget, and on a travel platform the first one sets the pace of everything else.
Supplier agreements
A flight GDS or consolidator, a hotel wholesaler, bus and rail partners. Each has its own commercial terms, its own onboarding and its own approval timeline, and some require deposits or credit arrangements before they will issue live inventory to a new travel business.
Payment gateway fees
Every card, UPI or net banking payment carries a gateway fee, and refunds do not always return it. The platform lets you recover some of it with a fee per payment method, and wallet payments avoid it, but it is a real line against a travel margin that is often thin.
SMS and messaging
One-time codes, booking confirmations, PNR alerts and trip reminders all go out by SMS as well as email and push. Sender registration is a prerequisite in several markets, and the per-message cost scales directly with bookings.
Recruiting agents and vendors
The agent portal and vendor extranet are built, and they do not fill themselves. Signing agents onto your network and hotels onto your extranet is sales and account management work that no platform quote contains.
Support during travel
Travel support does not keep office hours. A delayed flight or a hotel that cannot find a booking needs an answer now, and the ticketing and chat are built, but the people answering them at two in the morning are a real cost.
Peak-season capacity
Holiday weekends and flash sales multiply search traffic in hours, and every search fans out to several suppliers. The API scales out behind a load balancer for exactly that reason, but the extra servers on your busiest days are on your hosting bill.
The first decides when you can sell live inventory at all. Everything else is ordinary running cost for a travel business, stated here so it sits in your plan rather than in a surprise.
