Demo Walkthrough

MakeMyTrip Clone Video Demo - Search, Booking & Admin Walkthrough

A walkthrough of a real booking from both sides, rather than a feature reel. It opens on the homepage with deals across categories, searches a flight and filters to non-stop morning departures, picks seats, fills passenger details from a saved traveler, applies a promo code and pays part of the fare from the wallet. Then it switches to the admin panel, where the same booking shows up with its payment, its margin and its loyalty points, and finishes with an agent booking a hotel for a client and seeing the commission land.

Client Reviews of Miracuves: Real Platforms, Proven Results

Real, attributed feedback from founders and operators who launched booking and travel businesses on a Miracuves base: short-stay rentals, hotel booking, charter bookings and a multi-service super-app. Each engagement is published in our portfolio with its own details.

TTiffany DandreaOperations Director, Best Cabo Yacht Rentals
“We were running charters off a paper calendar and losing bookings to the OTAs. Calendar, booking flow and payments came off the shelf; they added boat listings with availability windows, crew management and a multilingual guest portal. The ops team finally has a live view of the fleet.”
MMelvin MoralesOperations Lead, Shophy Holdings
“Ride-hailing, food, courier and a marketplace, and we were chasing a holiday window. Their Gojek base had the rider and driver apps, dispatch and the merchant console already. We added local payment partners and our regional marketplace layer, and were taking live orders inside a month.”
GGoToRawanda TeamFounding team, GoToRawanda
“Hosts, listings, calendars and payments were solved. Our work was the local payment methods, the languages our guests use and the property types we actually list. It replaced a phone-and-email process inside a month.”
MMartin KFounder, Ischia Booking S.r.l
“We were running a few dozen properties off a static site, email and a phone. Calendar, booking flow and the property manager came off the shelf. They added a channel manager for our OTAs, a guest portal and a multilingual interface. The operations team no longer lives in the inbox.”

A modeled reference deployment of the Miracuves MakeMyTrip Clone, set up for a regional travel brand. It sells to leisure travelers, partners with local travel agents and handles company travel accounts, all on one platform. No client engagement is involved, and the figures describe what the platform does rather than outcomes a customer reported.

Challenges
  • Leisure bookings flowing through a national app that owns the customer and the margin
  • Local agents booking by phone and reconciling commission in spreadsheets
  • Company clients wanting spend limits and approvals before anyone books
Goal
  • One branded app for flights, hotels, buses, trains and holidays
  • Agents booking for their own clients with commission calculated automatically
  • Corporate accounts with travel policies, approvals and expense claims
🛠 Travel Software by Miracuves
  • Pay-then-book checkout with wallet, promo codes and gift cards
  • Agent portal with client records, agent wallet and monthly settlements
  • Corporate portal with policies and multi-stage approvals
  • Vendor extranet with supplier onboarding, rates and availability

What Is It

What Do We Mean by a MakeMyTrip Clone App?

A MakeMyTrip Clone App is a ready-made online travel agency platform that lets you launch your own branded version of apps like MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Yatra, Cleartrip and EaseMyTrip. Travelers search and book flights, hotels, buses, trains, cabs, activities, holiday packages and homestays in one app, pay in one checkout and manage everything afterwards in one dashboard. Behind that sits everything a travel business needs to run: supplier connections, a margin engine, refunds and cancellations, a portal for travel agents, a portal for corporate travel, a vendor extranet and an admin command center. The Miracuves MakeMyTrip Clone is designed for founders, travel agencies and regional travel brands that want that whole business under their own name.

MakeMyTrip Clone cross-platform travel booking solution with customer website, mobile app, and booking management admin dashboard.

Native on Android, iOS & Web

One travel platform reaching travelers on the web and in native mobile apps, with the same trips, wallet and loyalty everywhere.

White-Label & Fully Yours

Your brand name, your logo, your colors, your domain and your margins. No Miracuves branding anywhere your customers can see it.

Every Travel Category From Day One

Flights, hotels, buses, trains, cabs, activities, holidays and homestays all ship together, switched on or off per market.

The Engine

When Is Something a MakeMyTrip Clone Script?

A MakeMyTrip Clone Script is the source code and architecture underneath: the booking engine for every travel category, the checkout, the wallet and loyalty system, the partner portals, the admin panel and the connections to flight, hotel, bus, rail, activity and payment suppliers. It is what lets you launch a working travel business in days instead of spending eighteen months building one.

MakeMyTrip Clone desktop hotel search showing destination, dates, guests, filters, sorting and property cards.

Choosing the Miracuves MakeMyTrip clone script means you:

  1. 01The source code is 100% yours
  2. 02Live in 6 days, not after months of waiting
  3. 03Avoid long-term vendor lock-in and revenue share
  4. 04Add suppliers, categories and workflows as you grow

Plain-language summary: a MakeMyTrip clone app is your shortcut to launching a complete travel booking business – consumer app, agent channel, corporate travel and supplier extranet – that you own, brand and control, instead of paying commission to someone else’s platform for every trip your customers take.

How Much Does It Cost to Build a Travel Booking App Like MakeMyTrip in 2026?

Building a MakeMyTrip-style platform from scratch means a consumer app and website, a booking flow for every travel category, a checkout that never double-charges, refunds and cancellations, supplier connections, a portal for agents, a portal for corporate travel, a vendor extranet and an admin panel with a margin engine. That is a multi-year project for a large team before the first booking. The Miracuves MakeMyTrip Clone is $3,999, one fixed price for the complete platform, with customizations and add-ons quoted separately on top.

05Who it is for

Who It’s For

Who Does the MakeMyTrip Clone App Serve?

Our MakeMyTrip Clone App is designed for founders, travel agencies, tour operators, corporate travel companies and regional travel brands that want to launch a complete online travel business under their own name instead of sending their customers, and their margin, to a national booking app.

Audience 01 / 06Regional Travel Brands

Build the travel app for a state, a region or a language that national apps serve as an afterthought. Feature local bus operators, homestays, activities and holiday packages, set margins that suit your market, and keep geography-specific rules in the admin panel.

Audience 02 / 06Corporate Travel Companies

Offer companies a corporate travel portal with travel policies, spend limits, multi-stage approvals and expense claims generated after every trip, and earn both a plan fee and the margin on every booking their employees make.

Audience 03 / 06Agent Networks & Consolidators

Give hundreds of independent agents one platform to book from, with client records, commission calculated on every booking, agent wallets with credit limits and monthly settlements, so the network grows without more back-office staff.

Audience 04 / 06Hotel Groups & Supply Aggregators

Run a marketplace where hotels, homestay hosts and activity suppliers onboard themselves, manage their own rates and availability in the vendor extranet, and get paid transparently, while you earn a commission on every stay.

Audience 05 / 06Travel Startups & New OTAs

Launch a full online travel agency with flights, hotels, buses, trains, holidays and a wallet from the first day, instead of spending your funding on building a booking engine. Start with the categories your market wants most, switch on the rest as you grow, and put your budget into marketing and supplier deals rather than code.

Audience 06 / 06Travel Agencies & Tour Operators

Move a phone-and-spreadsheet agency onto its own booking platform. Your customers book online under your brand, your team books on their behalf in the agent portal, and your holiday packages sit alongside flights and hotels in one checkout that collects payment before anything is confirmed.

If your business already sells trips, holidays or travel services, or you want it to, owning the booking platform is how you keep the customer relationship and the margin on every booking.

Each of them uses a different mix of the same platform: an OTA leads with the consumer app and loyalty, an agency with the agent portal, a corporate travel company with policies and approvals, and a supply business with the vendor extranet. 06Under the hood

Journey Overview

How the MakeMyTrip Clone Works - Search, Book, Pay, Travel & Return

A great travel app feels simple to the traveler, but every booking runs through search, supplier confirmation, payment, notifications and after-trip care. Here is the path a traveler takes, and what the platform does at every step.

Traveler Journey - From First Search to Next Trip

  1. MakeMyTrip Clone mobile home screen with flight, hotel, homestay and bus tabs plus round-trip search controls.
    1Browse & Log In

A traveler opens your app or website and sees deals across every category before they even search.

    • The homepage shows offers, banners and popular destinations you control from the admin panel
    • Travelers sign up with email, a one-time code or Google sign-in
    • Saved travelers and documents make every later booking faster
    • Recent searches are remembered so returning travelers pick up where they left off
  2. MakeMyTrip Clone mobile flight results comparing the platform fare with Hopper and Google Flights prices.
    2Find & Compare

The traveler searches the category they need and narrows the results quickly.

    • Flights, hotels, buses, trains, cabs, activities, holidays and homestays each have their own search
    • Filters and sorting for price, time, stops, stars, amenities and ratings
    • Results come from your connected suppliers and your own listed inventory together
    • Maps show hotels by location and routes where it helps the decision
  3. MakeMyTrip Clone mobile travel dashboard showing total bookings, upcoming trips, spending, service shortcuts and confirmed booking cards.
    3Choose & Tailor

The traveler chooses exactly what they want and sees exactly what it costs.

    • Seat maps for flights and buses, berth preference for trains, room types and meal plans for hotels
    • A fare breakdown with taxes and fees before payment
    • Travel insurance, visa help and forex offered alongside the booking
    • Passenger details filled from saved traveler profiles
  4. MakeMyTrip Clone mobile wallet showing available balance, top-up action and recent withdrawal transactions.
    4Pay & Get Confirmation

Payment and booking happen as one step, so a traveler is never charged for a trip that did not confirm.

    • Cards, UPI, net banking, pay later or cash, with wallet balance, promo codes and gift cards applied
    • The amount is locked on the server when the order is created and verified with the gateway
    • A repeated tap never charges twice, and a failed supplier confirmation refunds automatically
    • The PNR or voucher arrives instantly by email, SMS and in the app
  5. MakeMyTrip Clone mobile traveler profile menu with bookings, wallet, offers, notifications, support, reviews, rewards and refunds.
    5Travel & Get Help

The trip lives in the traveler’s dashboard from booking to return.

    • Every booking with its status, PNR, voucher and reminders in one place
    • Cancellations show the refund under your cancellation policy before the traveler confirms
    • Support tickets, AI chat and human agents handle questions with the booking attached
    • Disputes and refunds are tracked through to completion
  6. MakeMyTrip Clone vendor earnings dashboard showing balance, pending payout, monthly revenue and recent transactions.
    6Rate, Earn & Rebook

After the trip, the platform works on bringing the traveler back.

    • Travelers review hotels, activities and trips once they are home
    • Loyalty points credit on every completed booking and move travelers up the five tiers
    • Cashback and refunds sit in the wallet, ready for the next booking
    • Referral codes reward travelers for bringing friends

Behind The Scenes

MakeMyTrip Clone Platform Architecture & Booking Flow

Book a Live Walkthrough
  1. Layer 01

    Supplier Orchestration

Every category has one booking primary, automatic fallbacks and display-only compare sources, with routing set per country. Searches query them in parallel, a reservation goes to exactly one supplier, and a fallback takes over the moment the primary fails.

  2. Layer 02

    Pay-Then-Book Checkout

The server creates the payment order with a locked amount, verifies the gateway signature, confirms with the supplier and only then issues the booking, refunding automatically if confirmation fails.

  3. Layer 03

    Margin & Pricing Engine

Supplier rates pass through the margin set for each category, as a percentage, a flat fee and a minimum, so the price a traveler sees always carries the margin the operator chose.

  4. Layer 04

    One Booking Record Across Categories

Flights, hotels, buses, trains and every other category feed one booking hub, which powers the traveler dashboard, support, refunds, loyalty and revenue reporting.

  5. Layer 05

    Roles & Permissions

Nine roles and twenty-four permissions are checked on every request, so agents, vendors, corporate users, support staff, finance and admins each see only their own part of the platform.

  6. Layer 06

    Notifications, Audit & Monitoring

Booking events trigger email, SMS, push and in-app messages through a queue, while admin actions, supplier credential changes and location decisions are written to audit logs.

Connected Suppliers

MakeMyTrip Clone Integrations - 61 Pre-Wired Travel Suppliers & Services

Every travel category ships with its suppliers already wired in, and each provider has a defined role. One booking primary issues the reservation, fallbacks take over automatically if it fails, and compare sources enrich search results without ever issuing a ticket. Your own supplier accounts are connected during delivery, and a seeded local inventory behind every category keeps the platform fully bookable from the first day.

Routing rules the orchestration layer enforces:
  • One booking primary per category, so a reservation can never be double-booked
  • Compare and metasearch sources are display-only and never issue tickets
  • Indian rupee payments route to Razorpay, every other currency to Stripe
  • India SMS goes through MSG91 first, with Twilio as the automatic fallback
  • Routing is set per country, so each market runs its own primary and fallback order

Every credential lives in an integrations console: masked on screen, rotatable, testable live against the provider, and every change written to an audit trail with the user and time.

Build to Scale

Built to Scale - Peak Travel Seasons, Supplier Load & Multi-Region Growth

Travel demand is seasonal and spiky. Holiday weekends, festival seasons and flash sales can multiply search traffic in hours, and every search fans out to several suppliers at once. If the platform slows down at those moments, travelers book somewhere else. The Miracuves MakeMyTrip Clone is built so the busiest days of your year are also your best-performing ones.

01

Built for Seasonal Peaks

The API servers keep no session state, so you add capacity by adding servers behind a load balancer.

  • Scale out for holiday weekends, festival seasons and flash sales
  • Scale back when traffic returns to normal
02

Parallel Supplier Search

Every search queries your connected suppliers in parallel, and results from your own listed inventory are served from your database alongside them.

  • One slow supplier does not slow every result
  • Demo inventory keeps the platform usable while supplier accounts are being approved
  • India and global supplier stacks side by side
03

Automatic Supplier Fallback

If the primary supplier for a category fails, the booking moves to the next supplier in line, keeping the category bookable instead of showing errors.

  • Supplier health is visible to your team
  • Supplier switching from the admin panel without a release
  • As you grow, your own developers can add new suppliers, new categories and new workflows on the same TypeScript codebase without rebuilding what already works
04

Payments That Never Double-Charge

The moment traffic peaks is the moment duplicate taps, gateway retries and supplier timeouts happen most.

  • Server-side amount locking on every payment order
  • Gateway signature checks
  • Idempotent payment processing on retries
  • Automatic refund when supplier confirmation fails
05

Caching, Queues & Rate Limits

Redis powers caching, background notification queues and rate limits across every server, protecting search and sign-in from spikes and abuse.

  • PostgreSQL scales with connection pooling
  • Read replicas for dashboards and reports
06

Multi-Region & Multi-Brand Ready

Expanding into a new country or launching a second brand is configuration, not a rebuild.

  • Each deployment carries its own brand, categories, currencies, payment methods, supplier stack and location rules
  • INR by default with international currencies through Stripe
  • Every travel business sells a different mix of categories to a different mix of customers, so the platform treats categories, suppliers, margins, payment methods, loyalty rules and portals as configuration
  • An OTA can start with flights and hotels and switch on buses, trains and holidays later; an agency can lead with the agent portal; a corporate travel company can lead with policies and approvals

Note for founders and technical leads: you can launch lean on a single server and still be ready for peak season. We size the first deployment with you and document which traffic level should trigger each scaling step.

07Security and compliance

Security

MakeMyTrip Clone Security - Payments, Traveler Data & Permission Levels

A travel platform handles passports, payment references, supplier credentials and money moving between travelers, agents and vendors. The Miracuves MakeMyTrip Clone is built with security in every layer, from sign-in and permissions to payment verification and audit logs, and ships with a full security and VAPT compliance reference for your technical team.

  1. 01 · Suppliers
    Supplier Credential Security

API keys for airline, hotel, rail, bus, cab and payment suppliers are stored encrypted with AES-256, managed from the admin panel with masked values, and every change to them is recorded in a dedicated audit log with the person and the time.

  2. 02 · Access
    Secure Login & Permission Levels

Every request passes rate limiting, token validation, role checks and permission checks before it reaches the booking engine. Access tokens expire in minutes, refresh tokens rotate and are revoked on logout, and suspended accounts are blocked immediately.

    • Secure Sign-In & Sessions: Short-lived access tokens with rotating refresh tokens, bcrypt password hashing, one-time codes, Google sign-in and two-factor sign-in for admin and finance roles.
    • Permission-Based Access Control: Nine roles and twenty-four fine-grained permissions are enforced on every request, so each person reaches only the data and actions their role allows.
  3. 03 · Audit
    Audit Trails & Location Controls

Admin actions, supplier credential changes and location-based access decisions are each written to their own audit log, giving your team a clear record of who changed what. Location rules can allow or block access by country, state or city.

    • Abuse & Bot Protection: Rate limits on every endpoint with stricter limits on sign-in, strict input validation, security headers and location rules that block access from regions you choose.
  4. 04 · Testing
    Security Documentation & VAPT Readiness

The platform ships with a developer and security handbook and a VAPT compliance reference mapped to the OWASP Top 10, so your security team or external testers can review the platform against a documented baseline before launch.

    • Built to Security Best Practice: Development follows the controls that ISO 27001 and SOC 2 assessments look for: role-based access, audit logging, encrypted secrets and documented security configuration.
  5. 05 · Payments
    Payment & Refund Integrity

Every payment order is created on the server with a locked amount, verified against the gateway signature and processed exactly once, even if a traveler taps twice or the gateway retries. Refunds cannot exceed the original payment, wallet balances cannot go negative, and refund and payout approvals require finance permissions.

    • Secure Payments: Card details are handled by the payment gateway and never stored. Payment amounts are locked on the server and every gateway payment and webhook is signature-verified.
  6. 06 · Data
    Traveler Data Protection

Passport numbers, travel documents, addresses and payment references are only available to the traveler and to staff whose role permits it. Passwords and tokens are hashed, sensitive fields are never returned by the API, uploads are checked by file type, and travelers can export or delete their data.

    • GDPR-Ready Data Practices Included: Consent flags at signup, per-channel notification preferences, traveler data export and account deletion, and sensitive fields never returned by the API.

Note for committed operators: from traveler passports to supplier payouts, a travel business is only as trustworthy as its platform. Talk to us about your security review, penetration testing and compliance requirements before you launch.

Regulatory Notice

MakeMyTrip Clone Compliance - Software Scope, Supplier Contracts and Travel Registration

Software is what you get with a MakeMyTrip clone - it is neither a travel license nor a supplier contract. What Miracuves builds and hands over is the platform layer: a booking engine covering every category, a checkout that takes payment before booking, supplier connectors that route to a primary or a fallback, per-category cancellation policies, the refund queue, separate portals for agents, for corporate accounts and for vendors, plus audit logs and admin controls. Offering seats on airlines, rooms in hotels, bus and rail tickets and holiday packages for sale is a commercial activity, and so is raising tickets on a supplier account or taking money from travelers in the role of seller. In many markets all of this is regulated, and responsibility sits with your business and its agreements.

Built ready for your supplier accounts, gateways and registrations - not a substitute for them.

“Ready” means the connectors, routing rules, refund logic and audit trails are built and testable on the seeded demo inventory, so your own supplier and payment accounts plug in during delivery. It is not an accreditation. Miracuves holds no IATA accreditation, travel-agent license or supplier contract on your behalf, and the live inventory you sell is governed by the terms of the supplier agreements you sign.

What You Get in the Software

The build covers search and booking across eight travel categories. Checkout takes payment first and refunds automatically if a supplier does not confirm. Margins and cancellation policies are set per category. You also get portals for agents, corporate accounts and vendors, a supplier credential console that is encrypted and audited, location rules, export and deletion of traveler data, and role-based access. You own the source code that is delivered.

What Stays With Your Business

Your supplier agreements and their commercial terms: a flight GDS or consolidator, a hotel wholesaler, bus and rail partners, activity suppliers. Your payment gateway account and merchant terms. Any IATA accreditation, travel-agent or tour-operator registration your market requires, and the tax and invoicing rules on what you sell.

Refunds, Cancellations and Chargebacks

The platform applies the cancellation policy you set for each category, shows the refund before the traveler confirms, refunds automatically when a booking fails to confirm and routes refunds through finance approval. Your refund policy, its fit with each supplier’s own terms, and chargeback handling with your gateway remain yours.

Local Rules Shape the Setup

What you need depends on the market. Airline ticketing normally depends on a consolidator or IATA accreditation. Rail tickets need an authorized partner, for example the one IRCTC runs in India. Bundled holidays can be subject to rules on package travel and on consumer protection like the ones applied in the EU and UK, while traveler documents are covered by data-protection law. Confirm which route applies by asking your suppliers, legal counsel or a body for the travel trade, because Miracuves does not offer legal, licensing or regulatory advice.

Monetization Engine Overview

MakeMyTrip Clone Revenue Models - Margins, Commissions, Add-Ons & Corporate Plans

A travel platform earns on every booking only when its margins, commissions and add-ons are set by the operator rather than fixed by a vendor. Our MakeMyTrip Clone gives you six ways to make money, every one of them controlled from the admin panel.

  1. 01

    Booking Margins per Category

Add your margin on top of the supplier rate for each category, as a percentage, a flat fee or both, with a minimum per booking.

  2. 02

    Travel Agent Commission

Grow through agents who sell your inventory to their clients, with commission calculated on every booking and settled monthly.

  3. 03

    Vendor Commission

Earn a commission from hotels, homestay hosts and activity suppliers who list directly on your marketplace through the vendor extranet.

  4. 04

    Visa, Forex & Insurance Fees

Add service fees on travel services sold inside the same checkout, which lifts the value of trips travelers already booked.

  5. 05

    Corporate Travel Plans

Sell Starter, Business and Enterprise plans to companies that manage employee travel, alongside the margin on every trip they book.

  6. 06

    Payment Fees & Wallet Float

Recover payment costs with a fee per payment method, and hold prepaid wallet balances and unused gift card value on your platform.

Four revenue lines of a MakeMyTrip-style platform: category margins, vendor commission, visa service fees and payment fees, each set beside figures its listed peers publish.
Revenue streamHow it is chargedTake rateTypical rangeWhat sets the ceiling
Booking Margins per CategoryA markup over what the airline, hotel or bus operator charges, configured per travel category.MakeMyTrip, nine months to Dec 2025: air 7.0%, bus 10.2%, hotels and packages 17.8% of gross bookings.Costs. MakeMyTrip's FY26 adjusted operating profit was USD 188.8 million on USD 10,390.8 million of gross bookings, about 1.8%, so category margin does not drop to profit one for one.
Vendor CommissionHomestay hosts, hotels and activity suppliers listing directly pay a percentage on every booking.Airbnb: most hosts on the single-fee model pay 15.5%. Booking.com varies by country and property type.Visibility add-ons. Booking.com layers extra points over the base rate once a property joins its Preferred Partner or Visibility Booster programs, so a vendor's effective rate climbs when it pays for prominence.
Visa Service FeesA service fee on visa help sold inside the same checkout as the trip.VFS Global India's Schengen service charge: INR 1,026 per application, GST included.A published floor. The charge bundles 9% CGST and 9% SGST, and the visa fee itself (INR 9,504, or EUR 90) is the consulate's. No public benchmark for forex or insurance fees was verified, so use your partner's rate card.
Payment FeesA fee per payment method, recovered from the traveler to cover the gateway's cost.Razorpay India: 2% per transaction on cards, UPI and netbanking, plus 18% GST on that fee.UPI carries zero merchant discount rate, so Razorpay's 2% is a platform fee and not interchange. Whatever you pass on to travelers has to be defended against a payment method that costs the merchant nothing in MDR.

Segment margins are our division of the gross bookings and adjusted margin that MakeMyTrip reports in its Q3 FY2026 results (Form 6-K), and the operating-profit ratio uses the FY26 totals reported by PTI via Outlook Business. Adjusted margin is a company-defined non-IFRS measure. Airbnb's host-only rate is on its fee page, Booking.com's rate behavior in its commission guide, visa charges on the VFS Global page, and gateway pricing on Razorpay pricing. These are published inputs for modeling, not a price quote and not a claim about what your portal will earn.

Benchmarks for the Online Travel Market - Independent 2025-2026 Data

Revenue models are our own work; the figures here are not. They come from UN Tourism and from the latest annual filings of Booking Holdings, Expedia Group and MakeMyTrip, and are quoted as published. For an operator, the useful things are the portion of each booking's value that these listed incumbents keep as revenue, and which way demand is heading.

UN Tourism01

In 2025 the World Recorded 1.52bn International Tourist Arrivals

According to UN Tourism, worldwide international tourist arrivals reached 1.52 billion in 2025. That is a 4 percent increase, almost 60 million above 2024, and international tourism receipts are estimated at USD 1.9 trillion. The organization's September 2026 update records 690 million arrivals between January-June 2026, a gain of 0.4 percent, and it now projects 2026 growth of between 1 and 2 percent.

Booking Holdings02

Revenue at Booking Holdings Equals 14.5% of Bookings

In its 2025 Form 10-K, Booking Holdings' total gross bookings come to US$186.1 billion, an increase of 12.4 percent, while total revenues are US$26.9 billion. The company reports this ratio as 14.5 percent of total gross bookings, whereas 2024 stood at 14.3 percent. Merchant bookings, for which it collects payment from travelers, made up 70 percent of the total, against 63 percent before.

Expedia Group03

Expedia's B2B Travel Bookings Reach $35.7bn, a 20% Rise

In the 2025 Form 10-K filed by Expedia Group, B2B gross bookings were US$35.7 billion, a 20 percent increase, while B2C came to US$83.9 billion, a 3 percent increase. B2C revenue margin was 11.3 percent while B2B reached 13.6 percent, and gross bookings overall were US$119.6 billion. B2B is the segment that supplies financial institutions, retailers, travel agents and airlines.

MakeMyTrip04

MakeMyTrip Earns a 17.9% Hotel Margin Against 7.0% on Air

The Form 20-F for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2026 from MakeMyTrip shows an Adjusted Margin where air ticketing is at 7.0 percent and hotels and packages at 17.9 percent, each measured against gross bookings; a year before, those were 6.4 and 17.8 percent. Hotel-room nights grew 17.6 percent. The company defines Adjusted Margin itself, and it is a non-IFRS measure.

Every figure is an estimate or reported result from its publisher, repeated as it was published. Each company calculates its own revenue ratios, so they cannot be compared like for like, as the companies recognize revenue differently. What they show is the market; they say nothing about how a platform built by Miracuves performs, and none of it projects revenue for your business.

2026 Opportunity

Why Launch a MakeMyTrip-Style Travel Booking App in 2026?

Travelers have moved to booking on their phones, and they expect one app to handle the whole journey: the flight, the hotel, the transfer, the activity and the refund if plans change. The businesses that win are the ones that own that relationship, and the travel brands, agencies and tour operators still relying on someone else’s app are handing it away with every booking.

01

Own the Customer, Not Just the Booking

Build your own branded travel app where you control the customer data, the offers, the loyalty program and the follow-up, instead of renting access to travelers from a national booking app that also sells to your competitors.

02

Earn on Every Category, Not One

A traveler who books a flight also needs a hotel, a transfer and an activity. Selling all of them in one checkout, with your margin on each, multiplies the revenue from every trip compared with a single-category business.

03

Launch Faster on a Proven Platform

Skip the long build of a booking engine, checkout, refunds and partner portals. Launch in days, test your market, and spend your budget on supplier deals and marketing instead of on engineering.

04

Bring Agents and Companies Online

Plenty of travel is still sold through local agents and company travel desks. A platform with an agent portal and a corporate portal captures that business alongside direct consumer bookings.

05

Win Regional and Niche Markets

National apps are built for the biggest routes and the widest audience. A platform focused on a region, a language, a type of holiday or a traveler community can serve that market better and keep its loyalty.

06

Retain Travelers With Wallet and Loyalty

Cashback, refunds to the wallet, gift cards and five loyalty tiers give travelers a reason to book their next trip with you, which lowers what you spend on acquiring the same customer again.

Travel is also one of the few categories where a single customer books several times a year across several products. A platform that keeps them inside one wallet and one loyalty program turns a one-off booking into a long-term customer.

Revenue Potential

Marketability, Revenue Potential & Where the Market Heads

A MakeMyTrip-style travel platform is not just a booking app. It is a commerce business that earns on every trip, a distribution channel for agents and suppliers and a customer relationship that lasts for years. The operators who do well pick the travelers, the categories and the channels they can serve better than a national app, and use margins, loyalty and add-ons to grow the value of each customer.

  1. 01

    Mobile-First Travelers

Travelers now plan and book on their phones, and expect one app for the flight, the stay and everything in between.

  2. 02

    Repeat, Multi-Product Customers

One traveler books several trips a year across several categories, which makes loyalty and wallet balances unusually valuable.

  3. 03

    Several Channels to Market

Consumers, travel agents, companies and suppliers all bring bookings, so growth does not depend on paid ads alone.

  4. 04

    High-Value Add-Ons

Holiday packages, activities, insurance, visa and forex raise the value of each trip well above the base booking.

Staying Power

A well-run MakeMyTrip-style platform can become a regional travel brand, an agent distribution network, a corporate travel business and a supply marketplace, with a loyal customer base that books with you year after year.

Sample Revenue Cases Modeled

These are not promises but realistic business patterns travel operators follow. Actual results depend on your market, your supplier rates, your marketing and your execution. Each scenario below uses capabilities that ship in the base platform.

Regional Leisure OTA8 Categories to SellOne brand, every trip a regional traveler takes.

A regional travel brand launching flights, hotels, buses, trains and holiday packages under its own name, with a margin set per category, loyalty tiers and wallet cashback bringing travelers back, and visa, forex and insurance adding a service fee to international trips.

Agent Network5% Default Agent CommissionDistribution without owning more inventory.

A consolidator onboarding local travel agents who book for their own clients on the platform. Commission is calculated on every booking, agents draw on a wallet with a credit limit, and monthly settlements replace manual reconciliation, so the network grows without more back-office staff.

Corporate Travel Desk3 Corporate Plan TiersRecurring plan revenue plus a margin on every trip.

A travel management company signing companies onto Starter, Business or Enterprise plans, with travel policies, manager and finance approvals and automatic expense claims, earning both the plan fee and the margin on every booking employees make.

Product4 questions

01What does the term MakeMyTrip Clone App cover?

A MakeMyTrip Clone App is a ready-made, white-label travel booking platform that lets you launch your own version of apps like MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Yatra and Cleartrip under your own brand. Travelers search and book flights, hotels, buses, trains, cabs, activities, holiday packages and homestays in one app, pay in one checkout with a wallet, promo codes and gift cards, and manage every trip in one dashboard. The Miracuves version also includes a travel agent portal, a corporate travel portal, a vendor extranet for hotels and suppliers, visa, forex and insurance, a five-tier loyalty program, an AI trip planner and an admin panel where you control margins, suppliers and permissions.

02What is the difference between a MakeMyTrip clone app and a MakeMyTrip clone script?

The MakeMyTrip clone app is what travelers, agents, companies and your team actually use: the mobile apps, the website, the partner portals and the admin panel. The MakeMyTrip clone script is the source code and architecture underneath: the booking engine for every travel category, the pay-then-book checkout, the margin engine, supplier connections, wallet and loyalty logic, and the role and permission system. With Miracuves you get both together, so you launch a working travel business in days and still own the code to change it however you want.

03Can travel agents and companies use the platform?

Yes, and that is one of the biggest differences from a basic booking app. The agent portal lets travel agents keep client records, book on a client’s behalf, see commission calculated on every booking, use an agent wallet with a credit limit and follow monthly settlements. The corporate portal lets companies set travel policies with spend limits and class rules, route bookings above the limit through manager and finance approval, generate expense claims after each trip and see spend by department. Both portals run on the same platform and the same inventory as your consumer app, so one deployment sells to travelers, agents and companies together.

04Is there a mobile app, and does it work on iOS and Android?

Yes. The platform includes native iOS and Android apps built from one React Native codebase, so both apps always have the same features. Travelers get tab navigation for home, flights, hotels, transport, trips and wallet, with search, booking, payment, loyalty and support in the app, and the agent, vendor, corporate and admin portals are available on mobile as well. The apps are published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts with your name, icon and splash screen. You can install the Android app from the demo section on this page and sign in with the traveler login, and iOS builds are shared on request.

Pricing & Revenue3 questions

05How much does a MakeMyTrip clone cost, and is there anything ongoing?

One fixed price of $3,999 buys you the whole Miracuves MakeMyTrip Clone. That includes the Android and iOS apps and the consumer website, together with portals for agents, corporate accounts and vendors, the admin command center and the entire source code. Deployment support comes with it, along with updates for 12 months, 60 days of guidance and bug fixes that get priority for 6 months. No license fee applies, and none of your bookings carry a revenue share. What you keep paying for is hosting of your own plus the accounts you use: your travel supplier agreements, your payment gateway, and the providers you use for SMS and email. Any customizations or add-ons are priced separately.

06How does a MakeMyTrip clone make money?

It earns in six ways, all set from the admin panel. You add a margin to the supplier rate for each travel category as a percentage, a flat fee or both, with a minimum per booking. Travel agents who sell your inventory earn a commission you set, and hotels, homestay hosts and activity suppliers pay you a commission on bookings they receive. Visa, forex and insurance carry service fees on top of trips already booked. Companies can pay for Starter, Business or Enterprise corporate travel plans. Payment method fees, wallet balances and unused gift card value add further revenue as the platform grows.

07Can I set my own margins, commissions and prices?

Yes. Platform Control lets you set a margin for each travel category as a percentage, a flat fee per booking and a minimum amount, so flights, hotels, buses, trains, cabs, activities and holiday packages can each carry a margin that suits your market. You also set the default commission for travel agents and vendors, the fee on each payment method, and which payment methods appear at checkout. Promo codes with usage limits, loyalty tier discounts and cashback are managed from the admin panel. Every change applies without a new release, so you can respond to seasons, competitors and supplier rates the same day.

Suppliers & Payments4 questions

08Which travel suppliers does the MakeMyTrip clone integrate with?

The platform ships with 61 providers already wired in across ten categories. Flights run on Amadeus as the booking primary, with Sabre, Travelport, Duffel and Via.com as fallbacks. Hotels book through Hotelbeds, with RateHawk, TBO Holidays and Expedia EPS behind it. Buses run on redBus, trains on an IRCTC authorized partner with Trainline and Omio for Europe, cabs on Ola and activities on Viator. Skyscanner, Kiwi.com, Google Flights, Agoda, Booking.com and others feed compare results. Payments run on Razorpay and Stripe, messaging on SendGrid, MSG91 and Twilio, and maps on Google Maps Platform. Your own supplier accounts are connected during delivery.

09Does it come with live flight, hotel, bus and train inventory?

The platform ships with ready connectors for flight, hotel, bus, rail, cab and activity suppliers, plus payment, SMS, email and maps providers, and a demo inventory so every category works from day one. Live inventory is activated with your own supplier accounts, such as a flight GDS or consolidator, a hotel wholesaler, and bus and rail partners, because those agreements and their commercial terms belong to your business. We connect the accounts you hold during deployment, and you can also list your own hotels, homestays, activities and holiday packages directly through the admin panel and the vendor extranet without any outside supplier.

10How are payments, cancellations and refunds handled?

Checkout collects payment and confirms the booking as one step. Travelers pay by card, UPI, net banking, pay later or cash, using Razorpay in India and Stripe internationally, with wallet balance, promo codes and gift cards applied in the same step. The amount is locked on the server, every payment is verified and processed exactly once, and if a supplier fails to confirm the booking the payment is refunded automatically. Cancellations use the policy you set for each category, so travelers see their refund before they confirm, and refunds go back to the original payment method or the wallet after your finance team approves them.

11What happens if a supplier fails in the middle of a booking?

Each category has exactly one booking primary, so a reservation is never sent to two suppliers at once. If the primary fails, the orchestration layer moves to the next fallback automatically. Checkout is pay-then-book: the payment is captured against a locked amount, the supplier confirms, and only then is the booking issued. If confirmation fails, the payment is refunded automatically, so a traveler is never charged for a trip that did not book.

Launch & Ownership4 questions

12How long does it take to launch a MakeMyTrip clone?

Our ready-made MakeMyTrip Clone goes live in 6 working days from kickoff for the standard platform with your branding, categories, margins and payment setup. Custom features and integrations are scoped separately, typically in 2 to 8 weeks depending on complexity. The things that usually decide your real launch date are on your side: app store developer accounts and review, your payment gateway approval, SMS sender registration, and the approval of your travel supplier accounts. We list all of these at kickoff so you can start them in parallel, and the demo inventory lets you test the full platform while supplier accounts are being approved.

13How secure is the MakeMyTrip clone?

Security is built into every layer. Sign-in uses short-lived tokens with rotating refresh tokens, hashed passwords, one-time codes and two-factor sign-in for admin and finance roles. Nine roles and twenty-four permissions are enforced on every request. Card details stay with the payment gateway, payment amounts are locked on the server and every payment is signature-verified. Supplier API keys are encrypted and audited, rate limits protect sign-in and search, and admin actions are logged. The platform supports GDPR-style data export and deletion and ships with a security handbook and VAPT compliance reference for your own penetration testing.

14Do I own the source code, and can I rebrand and customize it?

Yes. You receive the complete source code for the web apps, the mobile apps and the API, with no license fees, no revenue share and no conditions on how you use it. Your brand name, logo, colors, domain, categories, features, margins and payment methods are set from the admin panel without code changes. Because the platform is built on TypeScript end to end, your own developers or any other team can add new categories, suppliers, workflows and screens later. We also offer custom development if you want us to build market-specific features on top of the platform.

15What is the case for choosing Miracuves for a MakeMyTrip clone?

Because you get a complete online travel business rather than a booking front end: eight travel categories, the agent, corporate and vendor portals, a pay-then-book checkout that never double-charges, 61 pre-wired suppliers and an admin panel where you set your own margins, for one fixed price of $3,999 with the full source code and no revenue share. Miracuves has delivered 9,000+ projects for 6,000+ clients since 2010 and maintains 90+ ready-made clone solutions. The standard MakeMyTrip Clone goes live in 6 working days, and every launch comes with 60 days of platform guidance, 6 months of priority bug fixes and 12 months of product updates.
