Noon Clone Development Cost: What a Second Market Really Costs
Most marketplace quotes price the first market accurately and the second one not at all. The currency table, the per-zone tax binding, the serviceability gate and the cash settlement path are either in the schema from the start or they become a rebuild eighteen months in. Here is what this costs each way, and what the fixed price does and does not carry.

Three honest routes to the same capability. The differences that matter are not in the storefront - they are in whether the second market is a settings change or a project.
| What you are buying | Build from scratch | Miracuves Noon Clone | Assemble from separate products |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | An 18 to 30 month programme with a senior team | $2,499 one-time, fixed | Three subscriptions, indefinitely |
| Time to first order | Quarters, and the multi-market work is at the end | Six working days | Weeks to integrate, then the gaps appear |
| Currency per market | Yours to design, and easy to get wrong once | A currency catalog with operator-set rates, in the schema from day one | Usually one product's base currency wins |
| VAT that differs by state | Yours to design, and it touches every invoice | Tax classes bound per zone with per-product overrides | A tax add-on that does not know about the others |
| Cash settlement | Rarely scoped honestly at the start | Verified handover, per-agent cash balance, operator settlement | The gap nobody's roadmap owns |
| Who owns the code | You do | You do - complete Laravel 12 source, no encrypted files, no callback | Nobody. You rent all three. |
| Commission on your sales | None | None. Your commission rate is yours. | Sometimes a share, sometimes a per-order fee |
| Security review | One, on your own schedule | One codebase, one review | Three vendors, three reviews, three answers |
| Where it runs | Your infrastructure | Your infrastructure, your branding | Three vendors' infrastructure |
The assembled route is the one that looks cheapest in month one. It stops looking cheap the first time a cash order has to reconcile against a currency the logistics product has never heard of.
What the Price Includes
The $2,499 is the whole system, configured for the markets you actually sell into. Not a licence to operate somebody else's platform.
The market configuration line is the one worth reading twice. Currencies, tax zones, delivery countries and languages are set up with you during the six days, not handed over as an empty settings screen.
What Moves the Number
The base price is fixed. These are the things that genuinely sit outside it, and roughly what each is shaped like.
How many markets, and how different they are
The markets you launch with are configured inside the six days. Additional states afterwards are scoped separately, and the cost tracks how different they are rather than how many: a second GCC state with the same VAT treatment is quick, a market with a different tax regime and a different delivery economics profile is real work.
Right-to-left layout
Named on the hub as a scoped customization rather than implied as included. For an Arabic-facing storefront this is the single largest predictable add-on, and it should be quoted at the start of the conversation, not discovered at the end of it.
VAT export and filing formats
Tax reports over any date range export to Excel, CSV and PDF in the base build. A jurisdiction-specific filing format, or a direct submission integration, is scoped work.
Processor-side purchase verification
Listed on the hub as scoped rather than included. If your risk profile requires verification on the processor side rather than in the application, budget it explicitly.
iOS builds
Three Android apps are in the price. The Flutter projects compile for iOS, but the developer account, the signing setup, the store submission and the review cycle are separate work and quoted as such.
Governance beyond the base
Age-gated categories, country-specific catalog rules, per-seller document expiry, or a four-eyes approval on payouts are all custom modules. Common in regulated categories, absent from the base build, and cheap to scope early.
Anything beyond the base is quoted at two to eight weeks depending on scope. That is a range, not a starting point that grows.
The Six-Day Path to Live
Six working days, and the multi-market configuration is not the last thing in it.
Day one - markets and scope
Which states you sell into, which currencies you quote in, which VAT treatments apply, where you can actually deliver, and which languages the catalog reads in. This is the conversation that shapes everything after it, so it happens first rather than during handover.
Day two - infrastructure
Provisioning on your provider, the Laravel 12 application deployed, MySQL and Redis running, the queue worker and scheduler configured, storage wired and the domain pointed.
Day three - market configuration
Currencies created with their operator-set rates and a default per market, tax classes bound per zone with any per-product overrides, delivery country codes and zip allowlists opened, and shipping methods with per-category cost overrides.
Day four - branding and translation
App name, logo, splash screen and colour theme across all three Android builds and the web surfaces, transactional email templates branded, languages enabled and the translation store ready for your catalog copy.
Day five - payments and commercial rules
Your gateway credentials installed and tested per market, cash on delivery configured with its handling fee and code lifetime, commission set globally or per category, and the loyalty ratio and coupon rules put in place.
Day six - walkthrough and handover
One order traced end to end across all four identities, the repository handed to you, staff accounts created with their permissions, and an admin walkthrough with the configuration checklist. Then 60 days of launch guidance begins.
Six days is the deployment window, not the go-to-market window. Seller recruitment, catalog data, translated product copy and gateway merchant approvals run on their own clocks and are yours to drive.
Regional Development Rates
We do not publish a dollar figure for a from-scratch build, because the honest measure the documentation gives is time: an 18 to 30 month programme with a senior team. Here are the rates that let you size that yourself.
| Region | Senior engineer, blended hourly | What an 18-30 month programme implies |
|---|---|---|
| North America | $120 - $220 | The high end of any build-versus-buy comparison, and the reason most operators in this bracket buy |
| Western Europe | $90 - $170 | Comparable to North America once employer costs and notice periods are included |
| Gulf and Middle East | $60 - $130 | Often the market being sold into, which makes local hiring attractive and the timeline no shorter |
| Eastern Europe | $45 - $95 | The common outsourcing choice, where the risk shifts from cost to specification quality |
| Latin America | $40 - $85 | Time-zone overlap with North America is the usual reason, not the rate |
| South and Southeast Asia | $25 - $60 | The lowest rate, and the one where multi-market domain knowledge varies most between teams |
Why we give you the rate instead of the total
A from-scratch total depends on your team size, your region, how much of the multi-market work you scope correctly at the start, and how many times you rebuild the tax binding before it holds. Publishing one number would require inventing four assumptions and presenting them as a finding. The rate plus the duration lets you build the estimate from your own inputs, and it will be more honest than ours.
Rates are indicative blended figures for commerce engineering, not quotes. They exist so you can do the arithmetic rather than take ours on trust.
Why the Price Is Fixed, Not "Starting At"
$2,499 is what you pay. It is not a floor that discovers reasons to rise once you have committed.
What a fixed price actually commits us to
- The scope is the demoWhat you see in the live demo is what deploys. There is no tier of the platform withheld for a larger invoice.
- Configuration is not a change requestSetting up your currencies, tax zones, delivery countries and languages is deployment work, not billable scope creep.
- Add-ons are named before you buyRight-to-left layout, iOS builds, extra markets, VAT export and processor-side verification are listed as scoped work on the hub itself, not revealed in week three.
- No commission, everWe take no share of your orders and no per-order fee. Your commission rate is a lever you set for your own economics.
- No licence callbackThe code does not phone home. There is no mechanism by which we could switch your platform off, which means there is no leverage to renegotiate with.
- The Enterprise tier is a different conversationCustom, compliance-heavy and high-scale work is quoted on its own scope. It is not this price with additions - it is priced separately and honestly.
The two-tier structure exists precisely so the ready-made price can stay fixed. If your requirements genuinely exceed the base build, that should be a quote, not a surcharge.
Hidden Costs Most Quotes Leave Out
None of these are ours to charge you for. All of them are real, and a multi-market launch meets several at once.
A merchant account per market
Eleven gateways are integrated, but a merchant account is approved per entity and often per country. Two markets can mean two approval processes running on someone else's timeline.
Translated catalog copy
The translation store ships ready and empty. Translating a real catalog - and keeping it translated as sellers add products - is an ongoing operational cost, not a one-time task.
Delivery agent recruitment
The agent identity, KYC, approval and zone assignment all ship. The people, their onboarding and the routes they can actually serve are the business.
Working capital for cash float
On a cash-heavy book, money sits with agents between collection and settlement. That float is real working capital, and it scales with the fleet rather than with revenue.
SMS in more than one country
Order codes and handover verification run on SMS. Per-message pricing differs sharply between countries, and sender ID registration is its own approval in several markets.
Keeping VAT rates current
Tax classes bind per zone, but the rates are yours to set and yours to keep correct. A rate change you miss is not a software failure and it is not cheap.
OpenAI token spend
The AI module runs against your key with per-feature quotas and a per-call cost log. Bulk-generating descriptions for a large catalog is a real line item, and the log is there so it is a visible one.
Infrastructure that grows with the fleet
Live location broadcast from a delivery fleet is the workload that scales fastest. Redis, the queue worker and the database all feel a fleet before they feel a catalog.
We list these because a quote that omits them is not cheaper, it is just less finished. Every one of them is yours to own regardless of who builds the platform.
Where the money comes back from
Six revenue lines run on one ledger, and which of them carries the weight changes by market. The Business Model page maps them against growth stage.
