YachtWorld Clone Development Cost: $4,299, Fixed
One number, agreed before work starts, for the launch-ready white-label build deployed in six working days on your own infrastructure. Below is exactly what that covers, the five things that genuinely sit outside it, and the regional engineering rates you need to price the from-scratch alternative yourself rather than take our arithmetic on trust.

Four routes to the same platform, and what each one costs you in money, time and ownership.
| Route | Typical cost | What you end up owning |
|---|---|---|
| Generic classifieds script | $500 - $4,000 | A listing grid with no lead lifecycle, no broker CRM and often encrypted source |
| Freelance team | $18,000 - $60,000 | The pages you specified, and no operator console. The service queues and the CRM are what get descoped first |
| Miracuves ready-made | $4,299 fixed | The whole platform, source included, deployed in six working days on infrastructure you control |
| Custom agency build | $90,000 - $300,000 | A bespoke platform, and a timeline measured in quarters before the first inquiry is staged |
| Enterprise programme | Six figures and up | A senior team over twelve to twenty-four months, which is the honest figure for building this depth from nothing |
The ranges above are market observations for comparable scope, not quotes from us. Our number is the one in the highlighted row and it does not move after scoping. The enterprise route exists for dealer networks, banks, insurers and white-label partners, and is quoted against the final scope rather than listed here.
What the Price Includes
You receive the source, the schema behind it, and the documentation a technical buyer will ask for.
Full source ownership with no runtime licence, no per-seat fee and no revenue share. We will walk the repository, the schema and the documentation set with your technical lead before anything is signed.
What Moves the Number
The base price is fixed. These are the things that genuinely sit outside it, and roughly what each is shaped like.
Live payment processing
Plan selection, billing-cycle records, checkout and cancellation are implemented, and the invoice history is a generated six-entry mock. Connecting Stripe, Adyen or a regional provider is configuration rather than a rebuild, and we quote it with your deployment.
Inventory data migration
Bringing an existing fleet across from a legacy listing system or a spreadsheet is the most commonly underestimated line. The 40+ field vessel schema is richer than what most operators are migrating from, so the mapping and the media are the work.
Feed syndication to portals
Pushing your inventory out to third-party marine portals is not in the base build. Each destination has its own format and cadence, so it is scoped per feed rather than priced as one module.
Partner fulfilment workflows
The eight service modules capture and queue demand. Wiring insurance, transport, finance or survey partners into an actual fulfilment handoff with their systems is separate work, and it is where a services-led operator spends most of its scope.
Pre-launch security hardening
The handbook names its release gates: removing the fallback JWT secret, completing object-level ownership checks on every identifier-bearing route, encrypting TOTP secrets, hashing reset tokens, private scanned uploads and a privacy review across all forty tables. Scoped and quoted before it starts.
Scale-out infrastructure
Single-node is ready at launch through the included Compose and Nginx assets. A shared rate-limit store, shared pub/sub for server-sent events, and object storage with a CDN in front are the documented next steps rather than shipped modules.
Anything beyond the base is quoted after scoping. You approve a number before work starts rather than watching one accumulate.
The Six-Day Path to Live
What happens in the six working days, in the order it happens.
Scope, taxonomy and plans
We confirm your markets, which of the eight service modules you are enabling, your boat-type and category taxonomy, the plan tiers with their listing and featured limits, and your default currency and locale. On a marketplace those decisions are the product, so they come first.
Branding and locales
Name, logo, colour scheme and splash across the web application, the operator console and the Expo build, with the locales you are actually opening in configured rather than all five, and your display currencies selected against the exchange-rate provider you supply.
Deploy and connect your accounts
The application and its PostgreSQL go onto infrastructure you control via Docker Compose behind Nginx, or PM2 if you prefer a process manager. Your SMTP, VAPID keys, exchange-rate provider and object storage are connected with credentials you hold.
Inventory and dealers
First listings published with their specification fields, media and status, dealer records created with branding, geography and specializations, dealer association wired so leads route to the right desk, and the LeadSmart intent threshold set per dealer.
Operator walkthrough and handover
Staff accounts created, then we run a live lead end to end: search as a buyer, submit an inquiry, answer LeadSmart, stage it on the broker kanban, reply in the thread, attach a curated shortlist, and open the response-time view and the service queues. Repository, schema and documentation transfer.
The support window
Sixty days of launch guidance, six months of priority bug fixes and twelve months of updates. Security hardening, payment-provider integration and any data migration usually run inside this window on their own scoped schedule.
Six working days assumes your infrastructure and provider credentials are ready on day one. Custom work sits at two to eight weeks depending on scope.
Regional Development Rates
We do not publish a dollar figure for a from-scratch build, because the honest measure is time: a twelve to twenty-four month programme with a senior team. Here are the rates that let you size that yourself.
| Region | Senior engineer, blended hourly | What a 12-24 month programme implies |
|---|---|---|
| North America | $120 - $220 | The high end of any build-versus-buy comparison, and the largest brokerage market, which is why most operators here buy |
| Western Europe | $90 - $170 | Comparable to North America once employer costs and notice periods are included, and where much of the superyacht trade sits |
| Gulf and Middle East | $60 - $130 | Often the market being sold into, which makes local hiring attractive and the timeline no shorter |
| Eastern Europe | $45 - $95 | The common outsourcing choice, where the risk shifts from cost to specification quality |
| Latin America | $40 - $85 | Time-zone overlap with North America is the usual reason, not the rate |
| South and Southeast Asia | $25 - $60 | The lowest rate, and the one where marine-specific domain knowledge varies most between teams |
Why we give you the rate instead of the total
A from-scratch total depends on your team size, your region, and how much of the qualification and governance layer you scope correctly at the start rather than rebuild after the first dealer network arrives. The listing grid is the easy part. A schema rich enough for a seven-figure asset, search that combines technical ranges with geospatial radius, a lead object that survives being handed between people, and an operator console a non-engineer can actually run are each unglamorous, mandatory and slow. Publishing one number would mean inventing four assumptions and presenting them back to you as a finding.
Rates are indicative blended figures for marketplace platform engineering, not quotes. They exist so you can do the arithmetic rather than take ours on trust.
Why the Price Is Fixed, Not "Starting At"
What a fixed number commits us to
The scope is the demo. What you see across the buyer web app, the broker workspace, the operator console and the Android build is what ships. There is no discovery phase that discovers the price was optimistic, because the platform already exists and is already running.
No cut of your revenue. We take nothing from dealer subscriptions, listing upgrades, service lead fees or licensing. Every commercial lever in the platform is yours to set and yours to keep.
No per-seat fee. Your five hundredth dealer costs you nothing extra from us, which on a platform whose whole point is a growing dealer network is exactly the wrong thing to be charged for.
The limitations are named before purchase. Live card processing, the presentation-only admin controls, process-local realtime, the integrations needing your own accounts and the security release gates are all stated here and on the hub, and each is scoped and quoted before work starts.
The enterprise route exists for dealer networks, marine media groups, banks, insurers and white-label partners, and is quoted against the final scope rather than listed here.
Hidden Costs Most Quotes Leave Out
None of these are ours to charge. They are yours to budget, and on a marine marketplace the first one is larger than operators expect.
Photography and video
A seven-figure asset does not sell on three phone photos. Professional stills, drone footage and a video tour per vessel are a recurring content cost, and the gallery, primary-photo flag and video tour field exist because that content is what converts.
Media storage and CDN egress
Listing media is the first thing to outgrow an application server. Object storage plus a CDN is the documented growth step, and on a large gallery-heavy catalogue the egress line grows with traffic rather than with inventory.
Inventory onboarding
Someone has to populate 40+ specification fields per vessel, whether that is your brokers, a data-entry team or a migration script. It is a real cost and it lands before your first lead does.
Provider accounts
SMTP for the search-alert emails, VAPID keys for Web Push, and an exchange-rate API behind the six display currencies. Individually small, and each one is a prerequisite for a feature you will otherwise assume is broken.
App-store distribution
EAS build profiles are included, but Apple and Google developer accounts, signing and review are yours. Standard for any mobile launch, and worth putting on the calendar early rather than discovering it in week one.
Payment processing fees
Once a live provider is connected, dealer subscriptions and listing upgrades carry standard card processing. Not our fee, and worth modelling against your plan prices before you set them rather than after.
The first two are the ones that separate a marine marketplace from a general classifieds site. Budget them properly and the platform economics work; skip them and the listings do not convert.
