White Label Micro Drama App Features: Catalog, Coin Unlock & VIP
This is the platform underneath the short-drama clones we ship. Its value is not the video player. It is a paywall that sells one episode at a time and a single wallet that every client trusts. Below is the whole feature set, sorted by the person who uses it, with the preview-grade parts labeled as such.

Rented Platform vs One-Time Script vs Miracuves Platform
Three ways to put the same capabilities in front of viewers. Where a row describes the market in general, it is hedged, because vendors differ.
| What you are comparing | Rented / hosted platform | One-time script | Miracuves platform |
|---|---|---|---|
| How you pay | A recurring fee; one hosted OTT vendor's short-drama tier rents at about $1,499 a month | Open-market scripts run roughly $250 to $1,500; code-marketplace listings start under $10 and top out near $600 | $3,999, paid once |
| Source code | Normally stays with the vendor | Some vendors withhold it from every published tier, so check before paying | Four codebases handed over: web, console, API and Flutter |
| Mobile apps | Often built and published inside the vendor's own tooling | The cheaper tiers often ship web-view apps rather than native ones | A native Flutter build for iOS and Android |
| Selling episode by episode | Depends on the vendor; ask to see it running | Frequently a subscription toggle on a player | Coin price on every episode, and a free window you move from one setting |
| Coin wallet | Varies; ask whether promo and paid balances are separate | Often a single number that goes up and down | Reward and purchased balances apart, reward spent first, promos expire |
| Audit trail | Ask to see a ledger entry for one spend | Often absent | Seven typed ledger codes on every movement |
| Right-to-left layout | Varies by vendor | Often left out | Five locales, with RTL on web, store build and console |
| Operator console | Provided, and shaped by the vendor's roadmap | Often thin CRUD screens | Catalog, economy, moderation, staff and settings across 24 permission modules |
| Set-up time | Set by the vendor's onboarding | Your own effort | Six working days on our side |
| The catalog | Check the terms; rights normally remain your concern | Not included | Not included - you license the titles you publish |
A hosted rental is a fair fit for a team that wants no servers at all. The trade is a monthly bill and a platform that follows someone else's roadmap. The demo titles that ship are original seed material with royalty-free stills, so nothing in the box is licensed drama. The Provider page explains how to test each kind of vendor.
A Viewer's Path Through the Platform
To an outsider it is a player with a paywall in front. Underneath, a viewer and their coins follow a strict sequence.
Browse and Watch
- Start on a rail: banner, trending, new release or coming soon
- A title marked coming soon never appears on any other shelf
- Play Episode 0 as a free trailer
- Episodes inside the free window start without a prompt
- Progress is remembered in the browser
Meet the Lock, Pick a Key
- Four facts are checked the moment an episode opens
- Is it locked in the catalog, and does it fall in the free window
- Does the account carry a live VIP period
- Is there already an unlock row for this viewer
- Coins, a rewarded ad and auto-unlock each write that one row
Earn, Top Up, Return
- Free reward coins are consumed before paid ones
- Promotional coins age out after a set window
- Coin packs and VIP plans sell through hosted checkout
- Daily check-ins build a streak that brings viewers back
- Each movement leaves a typed line in the ledger
Entitlement lives in a single row, not in a rule each app evaluates alone. So an episode opened with coins on the web is already open in the Flutter build, and a VIP period bought in the app counts on the web straight away.
Why Each Feature Is on the List
None of these is here to fill a brochure. Take any one away and something specific starts to fail.
| Capability | What breaks without it |
|---|---|
| Two balances in one wallet | Promotional and paid coins are different obligations. Pool them and a promotion can only expire by also taking coins the viewer bought. |
| Reward coins spent first | Giving away free inventory only pays off if it is used up before paid coins are touched. Otherwise the rewards ladder is a standing discount. |
| Seven typed ledger codes | When a viewer disputes a charge, "the balance changed" settles nothing. A typed entry shows what happened and why. |
| Access resolved when read | A stored entitlement can go stale. That is how someone ends up locked out of an episode they already paid for on another device. |
| Unique keys on unlock rows | A nervous double-tap on a weak signal must not bill the same episode twice. |
| Episode 0 as the trailer | A free preview inside the ordinary data model costs nothing. A separate trailer system is an extra subsystem to build and maintain. |
| Hosted checkout | When card numbers never reach your database, the biggest compliance burden a small operator carries disappears. |
| Magic-byte upload inspection | Staff will sooner or later upload a renamed executable by accident. It still has to be discarded, not stored. |
| RTL on all three clients | Adding right-to-left after launch means reworking every screen, which is why Hebrew and Arabic audiences are so often left unserved. |
What Runs Underneath
Three clients share one Node.js and Express service: a Vite and React web app built as a static single page application, a Next.js 14 operator console on its own subdomain with ApexCharts drawn in the browser, and a Flutter GetX store build for iOS and Android. The service registers about 202 handlers across a client router and an admin router and sits behind nginx and PM2. Data is held in 33 Mongoose models on MongoDB. Titles and episodes carry their lock state and coin price, reward and purchased balances feed a seven-code ledger, and each viewer-episode pair has one unique unlock row. Indexes cover active titles, release date and ledger history. Uploads pass through a storage switch for local disk, S3 or Spaces after magic-byte inspection, and two scheduled jobs run inside the API process: one resets ad counters at midnight and one sends due campaigns each minute.
What Is Not Included in the Base Package
The features above run in the live demo. The items below do not ship in the base build, or ship only as a preview. We list them here so nothing appears after you have paid.
Stated against the feature, never implied away
The five hardening items (password hashing, rate limiting, CORS, settings scope and route-level permissions) come straight from the platform's own VAPT reference, where they sit in a labeled backlog. They are closed with you at deployment. This platform is an independent build with no affiliation to any short-drama service, and its code contains nothing taken from one.
Weigh Miracuves against rentals, scripts and agencies
Who owns the source, what happens if you stop paying, what the six days cover and what to ask every vendor are all on the Provider page.
