White Label Messaging App · Development Cost

White Label Messaging App Cost: $3,099, Paid Once

Buyers compare four routes: a rented or hosted platform, a one-time script, a custom build and the ready-made platform we deliver. They do not price the same thing. A rental is a recurring fee that usually bundles hosting and licensing, a script is a small payment for a narrow codebase, and a custom build is a team you pay for months. Ours is one payment for the complete source, with hosting and third-party services on top. Set the one-time cost against the recurring one, and do not mistake either for a total cost of launch.

The Routes a Buyer Compares, and What Each Costs

Same category, five different commercial shapes. The last column matters most after launch.

RouteTypical costWhat you are left holding
Rented or hosted platformA recurring fee that tends to climb with active users or message volumeA service, often with hosting, delivery and licensing folded in, that can change its terms or stop when payment does
One-time scriptRoughly $250 to $1,500 on the open market; code-marketplace listings start under $10 and top out around $600A narrow codebase. Cheaper tiers often ship web-view apps rather than native ones, and some vendors withhold the source from every published tier
Miracuves platform$3,099 onceThe full source for four surfaces, with calling, encryption and moderation working, live in six working days
Custom agency build$70,000 - $250,000A bespoke platform, delivered in quarters rather than days
Enterprise programSix figures and upA senior team for nine to eighteen months, the realistic span for this depth built from nothing

Ranges are observations of what comparable scope is sold for, not offers from us. A subscription often includes hosting and delivery that our price leaves for you to arrange, so the honest comparison sets one payment now against a fee that repeats, and does not claim a lower total.

Included

What the One-Time Payment Buys

All of it changes hands. No license conditions follow it and no share of your earnings is owed.

The complete sourceThe Node.js API, the Flutter app for phones, the browser client and the React operator console. Change them, rebrand them, redeploy them, resell them. There is no license fee, no per-message charge, and you host wherever you like.
Two phone apps, one codebaseFlutter builds iPhone and Android together, so a new feature reaches both in the same release. They publish through your own Apple and Google developer accounts, carrying your icon, name and splash screen.
Browser client and consoleThe web client mirrors the phone: same threads, calls, stories and settings, served from your domain. The console adds fifteen dashboard figures, queues for reported people and groups, user and group management, branding, languages and integration keys.
Live delivery and callingSocket.IO keeps persistent connections, several per account so a phone and a browser both receive. Presence and typing state are stored in the database. WebRTC moves voice and video device to device, with a relay for networks that block the direct route.
End-to-end encryptionDelivered with the platform, not sold afterwards as the upgrade that gives a low headline price its meaning. Message content is stored as ciphertext, and the WebRTC stack encrypts call media as standard.
Sixteen languagesTranslated and ready to enable, right-to-left layouts included. The console has a translation engine for adding more, and no store resubmission is needed when wording changes anywhere in the apps.
Deployment and documentsWe install it on your infrastructure, connect the database and storage, set up encryption and enter your SMS, push, maps and email credentials before handing over to your team. Documents cover requirements, the data model, the API, a developer and security handbook and a VAPT compliance reference.

Nothing on this list is a module waiting on a second invoice, and none of it is billed by user, message or minute.

Drivers

What Moves the Number Above the Base Price

Six scoped items. None is a hole in the platform, and each is listed so it cannot surprise you.

Encrypted backup and key recovery

Encryption is included. Restoring chats onto a new phone, or helping a member who lost theirs, is a separate layer around the keys. Weak recovery undermines strong encryption, so this deserves careful scoping and the sooner the better.

The pre-launch hardening pass

TLS termination, global rate limits, upload size and type limits, secret vaulting, security headers, a restricted console and a backup restore that someone has actually run. We complete it with you before the public arrives.

Payments and subscriptions

Not in the base build, because a messenger works without them and the right provider depends on where you operate. Paid tiers, in-app purchases or transfers between members are integrations against your own merchant accounts.

Enterprise sign-on

Phone, email and social sign-in ship. Corporate single sign-on, directory sync and automated provisioning suit an internal rollout and are scoped against whichever identity provider you use.

Multi-server real-time

The hard groundwork, a connection registry in the database, already exists. Adding an adapter so several servers pass messages between them is quoted when your concurrency calls for it.

Storage, audit trails and bots

Uploads on S3-compatible storage with signed URLs and a CDN, append-only audit logs forwarded to a SIEM for regulated buyers, and outbound webhooks for broadcast bots or CRM hooks. Each gets a written quote first.

Every item is quoted in writing before work starts, and none is folded into the fixed price. Larger custom engagements typically run two to eight weeks, and a custom quote comes from the consultation call.

Timeline

Six Working Days From Kickoff to Live

The order of events inside the delivery window.

Step 1 · Day 0

Pick the front doors

Choose which sign-in routes to offer: phone code, email, or a social account. It looks like paperwork but it prices your growth. Codes by SMS cost money on nearly every signup, email costs nothing, and some markets treat the phone number as identity. Filing for a sender registration and developer accounts starts the same day.

Step 2 · Days 1 - 2

Brand and language settings

Name, colors, both logos, favicon, banner, copyright line, store links and policy pages go in, together with the languages you switch on and the one new members see first. Every value is a console form that your team can change again without us.

Step 3 · Days 3 - 4

Install and connect

The Node.js application is installed on your servers with MySQL as the record of truth and media storage attached. Encryption is configured, and your SMS, push, maps and email credentials are entered once and held server-side, displayed masked from then on.

Step 4 · Day 5

Set the house rules

Write report reasons for people and for groups, choose the group size limit, pick wallpapers, avatars and alert sounds, and create operator logins that sit apart from any member account.

Step 5 · Day 6

Rehearse and hand over

Two accounts on two devices run a full conversation in front of your team: text, a photo, a voice note, a group with a second admin, a video call and a story. Then a report is filed, worked in the queue and ended with a block, the step most demos skip.

Step 6 · Afterwards

Support you can plan around

A support window follows handover with a named engineer. The hardening pass and other scoped items usually run inside it. We also size the first deployment and write down which measurement should trigger which scaling step.

Six days assumes your servers and third-party accounts are ready. It does not include store review, SMS sender approval or any other decision that belongs to an outside party.

Context

Regional Development Rates

Nobody can quote a from-scratch messaging build honestly without knowing your team. What can be stated is the duration, nine to eighteen months of senior engineering, and what an hour of it costs where you would hire it.

RegionSenior engineer, blended hourlyWhat a 9-18 month programme implies
North America$120 - $220A seven-figure programme before two people can send each other a photo
Western Europe$90 - $170Employer costs and notice periods close most of the gap to North America
Eastern Europe$45 - $95The familiar outsourcing route, where risk moves from cost to specification
Latin America$40 - $85Chosen for time-zone overlap rather than for the hourly figure itself
Gulf and Middle East$60 - $130Often the market being served, which makes local hiring attractive and no faster
South and Southeast Asia$25 - $60The lowest rate, and a deep pool of Node and Flutter experience to hire from

Why the rate is published and the total is not

Any single total hides guesses about headcount, region, seniority and how well the invisible half is specified. The chat screen is what everyone prices and it is a matter of weeks. The remaining months go to a real-time layer that keeps thousands of connections alive, calling that still connects across a corporate firewall, receipts that agree on four clients, presence that survives a restart, a moderation queue an operator can work, and translations that are real.

Pricing Policy

Why the Price Is Fixed, Not "Starting At"

What a fixed figure obliges us to

The demo is the scope. The platform already runs, and two live accounts wait on the hub page for you to message between. No discovery phase exists to find the number was optimistic.

No charge that follows your growth. A hosted service priced by monthly active user turns each new member into a line on the invoice. Here the ten thousandth member costs hosting and whatever your SMS provider bills, and nothing to us.

No calling meter. Voice and video go between devices instead of through a vendor, so hours of conversation are not something you are billed for.

The exclusions are printed beforehand. No payment processing, no backup or key recovery, no enterprise sign-on, no multi-server adapter, no object storage move, no immutable audit log and no webhooks are all stated here and on the hub, and the hardening pass is scoped work.

Encryption is included in the figure. A number that only holds while conversations stay readable is an opening bid, so ask any seller for the price with and without it.

Budget Honestly

Hidden Costs Most Quotes Leave Out

None of these come to us. They are yours to budget, and on a messenger they take an unusual shape.

01

SMS codes

Sign-in by phone number means paying your SMS provider for each code, in most markets. It is the one running cost that rises with signups, and the console shows which sign-in route members actually choose so you can judge whether it is worth it.

02

Hosting and storage that only grow

Messages accumulate rows and media accumulates files. Neither shrinks by itself, and deciding how long to keep old media is a policy choice that someone on your side has to make.

03

People to work the queues

The moderation queues exist, and they do not staff themselves. Reports arrive at all hours, usually when nobody expected trouble, so plan a rota and not a single role.

04

Bringing the audience across

A messenger is worthless to its first member. Moving an existing group off wherever it talks today takes a real reason, and no seller can quote for that persuasion.

05

Apple and Google accounts

Each developer program charges its own annual fee, and the apps are published under your accounts. Store review is out of anyone's hands, so begin applications before the calendar feels tight.

06

Push and maps usage

Providers meter push volume and, if you enable location sharing, map requests. Each unit is small and the totals are real. The credentials are your own, entered into your own deployment and not routed through us.

Bandwidth for calls is missing from this list because calls do not travel through your servers. Elsewhere in this category it is often the largest line.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a white label messaging app cost?
The platform is $3,099, paid once, and the figure is fixed. It covers the Node.js API, the Flutter code behind both phone apps, the browser client, the operator console, live delivery, WebRTC calling, end-to-end encryption, sixteen translated languages, the documentation and six working days of branded deployment. There is no per-user, per-message or per-minute fee, and no revenue share.
Is a subscription platform cheaper?
Not necessarily, and we will not claim it is dearer either. A subscription usually starts small and then repeats, often counted per active user or per message, and it may include hosting and delivery that you would otherwise arrange yourself. Our price is a single payment for code you own, with hosting and third-party services extra. Compare a one-time cost with a recurring one over the years you expect to run the product.
What is left out of the price?
Backup and key recovery around the encryption, the pre-launch hardening pass, payment and subscription billing, enterprise sign-on with directory sync, a real-time adapter for several servers, the move of media to object storage, append-only audit logging and outbound webhooks. Each is scoped and quoted in writing before it starts.
Why do cheaper scripts cost so much less?
Because they are narrower. One-time scripts on the open market run roughly $250 to $1,500, and their cheaper tiers often ship web-view apps rather than native ones. Some vendors hold back the source code from every published tier. Ask any script seller whether calling, encryption, moderation and the operator console are in the box, then see the price with them.
How long does go-live take?
Six working days from kickoff, provided your infrastructure and third-party accounts are ready. Those days cover sign-in methods, branding, languages, your rules, your credentials and the builds. App store review, SMS sender approval and scoped integrations fall outside the window. Custom work is quoted on top, and larger engagements typically take two to eight weeks.
What will it cost to run each month?
Hosting plus the services you choose to use. One modest server runs the platform for a launch community, with MySQL as the record of truth and file storage for media. Storage and SMS codes grow with membership. Calling does not, since voice and video flow between devices. We size the first deployment with you at handover and note which number should trigger each scaling step.

About this category

“White label messaging app” describes a category of product, not any one company. Brand names appear elsewhere on this site only to describe the kind of platform being built and the terms buyers search for.

Who built this

The entire design and codebase is built by our own team. The product contains no code, design, graphics, or content originating from any third-party messaging website or application.

Messages, members and compliance are yours

No users, contacts or phone numbers are supplied with the platform. Data retention and lawful-access obligations, age and consent rules, content moderation, SMS sender registration, and the privacy and telecoms rules in every market you operate in are your responsibility.
