What the build actually is: one Laravel 10 API and one MySQL database behind a Flutter client, a Blade and JS web app and an admin panel. Reels, feed posts, images, text posts and stories all live in the same post table, and a reel points at its track through a single optional sound column.
The music layer is two tables. Categories carry a name and an image. Sounds carry a title, an artist, a file, a duration, artwork, the category they sit in, a usage count and a flag recording whether an operator or a creator added them. Discovery reads the same rows four ways: search, an explore listing, a browse-by-category view and a reels-by-music page for one track.
Around that sits everything a short-video business needs to keep the attention it earns. Coins buy gifts on posts and in live rooms; tips move real money through Stripe; subscription plans and pay-per-view posts are priced in coins; a creator fund tracks qualified views; creators can promote their own posts as ads. A full shop with orders, reviews and a seller dashboard sits beside a business account with its own wallet, withdrawals and refunds.
Safety is operator-run with code support: reports with reasons you define, moderation queues, a moderator role that can freeze accounts and remove posts and stories, server-side daily caps on uploads and comments, an optional age gate, and an optional automated moderation service. Optional integrations, each on keys you register yourself, cover licensed music import, AR filters, GIFs and age verification. Nothing here is certified on your behalf, and no music catalog is bundled.
